Pie & Vampires
Heehee! I'm trying to watch the old silent film "Nosferatu" (1922) for my online "History Of Cinema" class...and falling asleep. So I decide to grab something to eat. And what am I eating?
Pie. (Or pah! as Dean calls it) *gigglesnort* Apple pie to be exact. *looks around for fugly scarecrow*
Btw, "Nosferatu" is about a vampire. How appropriate! I actually like some silent films, but this one is kind of slow. Plus the music they've put in is really bizarre. The best part is the vampire guy. His make-up is great - creepy long fingernails and big pointy ears! Shame you never actually see him attack anyone. People just wake up with teeth marks on their neck.
He had a great line, too, that made me giggle. And I'm sure I wasn't supposed to, but....
This guy has gone to the vampire's castle and spent the night there. In the morning he shows Nosferatu a photograph he's been carrying of his wife. Nosferatu looks at the photo with great interest and says, "Is this your wife? What a lovely neck!". Mwuhahahaha! LOL!
Well, back to the film...thankfully it's almost over.
