Day 3 of my little tribute to SPN's 100th eppy and we have Dean from the last episode of S3. The writer's strike, a shortened season, and after only 16 episodes Dean was off to the pit. Look at him though...he's too darned pretty to die. *sigh* But die he did and in spectacular fashion.
Admittedly, it was a little easier to pick a favorite eppy from S3 because it was so short. There were some great episodes though, like DALDOM, Fresh Blood, and Mystery Spot. But you can't beat the big season-ender and all it's tension and drama. Poor Sam trying every last ditch effort to save his brother and Lilith showing up to make sure Dean fulfilled his end of the contract. Even though I knew Dean was going to die and go to hell, I remember being effected by that last scene for a full week or two later.
