Tue/Thurs SPN Picspam # 40

Ooooh! I am so excited about this picspam! Not only does this mark the last episode on my first round of episode caps, but these caps are from a Hi-Def recording of AHBL, part two!!!! That's right, these caps are extra large beauties. I'm usually fairly satisfied with my regular caps, but these? I'm really proud of these because I honestly feel they're the best caps I've ever made. Hopefully you'll think so too!

I've been trying out the GOM Player to make my caps and originally just made these caps to further test the software. But I was so blown away with the size and quality of the caps, I decided to include them in this week's last picspam. Note that there are quite a few caps of Dean compared to Sam. I am a Dean!Girl afterall. It's just natural that I gravitate towards images of him. But there's some really gorgeous caps of Sam in here, too! There's even some of the other characters (YED, Ava, the Impala).

The caps you see here have been shrunk down some by Photobucket (to 1024 x 581 pixels). However, I don't want anyone to miss out on the full-sized caps, so I've uploaded the original sized caps (1136 x 644 pixels) into a zipped folder for downloading.

We start with 20 caps from the opening recap:

All Hell Breaks Loose, Part Two - "The Road So Far"

The famed Colt, killer of anything supernatural. I couldn't leave the beloved Impala out of the picspam, could I?


Dean: "Boo!" Heehee! At the crossroads and then the YED taunts Sam in part one.


Sam assumes a leadership role as he and four others find themselves in an abandoned town. Ava is no longer the innocent, blushing bride to be that Sam met back in Hunted. The YED is rooting for Sam to become his army leader.


Dean & Bobby finally find Sam...but too late. Sam: "Dean!" Sam's fatal wound.


Little brother is slipping away, but cradled in big brother's arms. *sniffle* Dean: "Sam!!!"






And now onto the episode itself:

All Hell Breaks Loose, Part Two

This opening scene kills me every time. Dean is so lost and devastated without Sam. He wants nothing more to do with hunting or the YED "I'm done with it. All of it.". I'm so glad I got that one tear from Dean captured. Nobody cries so beautifully like Jensen.


This just might be the best scene of the episode as Dean "talks" to Sam. "I always tried to protect you...keep you safe."


Huge thanks to director, Kim Manners, for these amazing closeups! Dean has never been more vulnerable. "What am I supposed to do? Sammy..."


These caps of Dean with the Crossroads Demon are some of my favorites. Dean is willing to do anything to bring Sam back.


The Demon Kiss in all it's glory! *Guh* Dean returns to Sam, relieved to see him alive. You know I had to have several caps of that hug. Yay! *smishes boys*


Dean just holds on for dear life. Love the one with his eyes closed. *wibble* Sam seems more than a little over eager to go after Jake.


More absolutely gorgeous closeups! Makes me want to kiss my monitor. lol Love the look on Dean's face with the last cap. He just wants Sam to slow down a bit, but little brother is determined to hunt Jake down.


I wish these caps of the scene with Bobby had come out better, but they were moving and the camera was moving, which caused the caps to be kind of blurry.


This row of caps? All about the eyes...*guh*...with both of them!


A little Evil!Scary!Sammy please? Whoah! And Dean finds himself face to face with the YED in the final showdown.


Great series of caps here as the YED hints that Sam may not have come back completely himself.


Dean finally puts an end to the Winchester family's quest.


Saying a final, silent goodbye to dad. And the final cap is a moment that still brings a tear to my eye and a lump to my throat every time I see it. "That was for our mom, you son of a bitch."


Sam learns of Dean's deal with the demon and that he has one year to live. But little brother is going to look out for his big brother this time. "You're my big brother. There's nothing I wouldn't do for you. And I don't care what it takes. I'm gonna get you out of this." Awwww!


Dean is clearly proud and touched by Sam's determination. Love that little smile and the barely there tears in his eyes. A final, devilish grin from Dean. The hunt is on!
