Technically I'm a little late with this, but Thursday, Sept. 13th marked the 2 year anniversary of our beloved show. It seems all too fitting to have a picspam (and a rather large one at that) featuring caps from the episode that started it all...the Pilot.

There are 114 caps in this picspam, split into 2 parts for easy viewing. These caps fill out the scenes from my first picspam of this episode including the opening scene through Dean showing up at Sam & Jessica's apartment. It then continues through the scene between the brothers as Sam decides to hit the road with his big brother to look for their dad.

Faith is yet another favorite episode from S1. A daring subject, Dean nearly dying, and plenty of brotherly angst makes for a very memorable episode.

Ooooh! I am so excited about this picspam! Not only does this mark the last episode on my first round of episode caps, but these caps are from a Hi-Def recording of AHBL, part two!!!! That's right, these caps are extra large beauties. I'm usually fairly satisfied with my regular caps, but these? I'm really proud of these because I honestly feel they're the best caps I've ever made. Hopefully you'll think so too!

The Usual Suspects is one of those unique episodes in that it proved that you could have an episode where the two leads were in every other scene together and it would still work. The reason it worked was because even while Sam & Dean were being held separately by the police, they were still working together.

There are 38 caps in this week's only SPN picspam. The quality is okay, considering I'm working from a downloaded avi file for this episode. I can at least say they turned out better than last week's Tall Tales caps. For that reason alone I was able to make these the usual large size (808 x 447). Because of the separate scenes between Sam & Dean, I had to include quite a few caps to get to a scene with Dean. In fact, Sammy is featured heavily in this picspam, so I'm sure all you Sammy!Girls will be happy about that. But not to worry, Dean!Girls, there's plenty of our guy here as well.

Season One's Skin is still one of my favorite episodes. Not only was it a great Dean episode, but it gave Jensen a chance to really show his range by having him play the chameleon shapeshifter in Dean's skin. We also got the boys searching through sewers, Jensen taking his shirt off (yay!), a great fight between Shapeshifter!Dean and Sam, and Dean coming to the rescue once again to save his little brother's life just in the nick of time. An added plus...it was directed by one of my favorite actors-turned-director, Robert Duncan McNeill, a.k.a. Lt. Tom Paris on Star Trek: Voyager!

Wasn't sure I was going to have time to even make these caps let alone make this post in time today. I've been so busy working on the documentary editing that there's little time for anything else. But I did manage to quickly make caps from the opening scenes of Playthings last night, uploaded them, and now I'm making this post while I recapture some of my video footage. Yay! for multi-tasking! :)
