Oh, My Goodness!!!

I have no idea who ordered this for me, but THANK YOU!!! I'm so very honored! From looking this up on Etsy, it looks like only 10 have been sold, so this is a rare gift indeed. I'm really pretty speechless. I'd love to know who ordered this, but I suppose I'll never find out.
You know sometimes I've wondered whether I should keep posting stuff for SPN, especially now that the show is over. Do people still want my caps? Are they still even interested in anything from the show? This incredible gift is certainly reassuring! :D

Instead of a picspam, I thought I'd celebrate Jensen's amazing singing voice. As if being an outstanding actor, a gifted director, and incredible human being weren't enough: yes, Jensen can sing. Honestly, at this point I'd love to know what he isn't good at. I'm sure it's a short list! I've been so fortunate to hear him sing in person 4 times. Here are 3 of my best recordings of his performances.
I would've posted the first time Jensen sang at VanCon back in 2015, but the audio isn't so good in that video. But in 2016 Jensen went more acoustic with the song and it was still a great performance.
VanCon 2018 would be my last con and while I'd been hoping Jensen would sing "Brother", instead we got treated to 2 songs from Jensen, including this brand new song! Many of us exclaimed afterwards that this wasn't Jensen on stage, but Dean Winchester himself!
Jensen sings the Saturday Night Special classic, "Whipping Post". Again, with better audio than my 2017 recording of him sining the song.

Came across this treasure on youtube overnight and thought I'd share it with my fellow Anne Of Green Gables fans. What a delight to hear Megan read a chapter from the book! Warning: it's the chapter about Matthew's death, but Megan interjects some thoughts along the way. She will always be the ONE Anne of Green Gables for me.

I still remember when I first saw this on The Muppet Show as a child. An amazing song and beautiful muppets with the spectacular Harry Belafonte. Seems like a perfect song to head into the new year. Enjoy!

Dec. 25th, 2020 06:52 amIt's been a crazy, messed-up year and at this point I'm feeling very grateful for what I still have. I can't help but think of how many people have lost family & friends to Covid-19 and how many families will be incomplete today. Most of my family/relatives have been gone for years now, so I miss them a lot at Christmas because the 9 of us always celebrated together. But I'm so glad to still have my mom with me, especially in light of the virus.
I'm also thankful for all of you, my online friends! I'm sorry for not being a very good friend this year. Please keep safe and have a very Merry Christmas (if you celebrate). No White Christmas here - just rain - but enjoy some Bing & Frank! :)

We actually have this same record as a 45. This recording has a special memory for me because when I was in grade school, a few of the 6th graders would spend a day before Christmas, going from classroom to classroom, performing this record as a skit. It was always enjoyable. Wouldn't you know...when I finally got to 6th grade they'd stopped doing it. Ah, well....it was fun for the years we had it.

I know I keep posting SPN Con Panel videos, but gosh I miss the cons! Even though I couldn't go to them anymore even if Covid-19 hadn't happened, I miss our special times with the SPN cast. I hadn't seen the clips of Ruth, Alaina, and Brianna before! And of course, the resume-off w/Misha & Jensen never gets old! :D
