Don't know if any of you have been listening to Rich & Rob's podcast of "And My Guest Is Richard Speight" since March (or was it April)? Anyway, it's been this wonderful little oasis of humor in this pandemic. The best part (other than Rich & Rob simply being themselves) are Rob's little theme songs. There's a bunch of them!

Anyway, if any of you know Scoutstiel on Twitter, she's been making these cute little animations from the shows. These are 3 of my favorites.

The opening 6 minutes or so of J2's Main Panel. Poor Jared with his hurt back and Jensen wasn't feeling quite himself either. Love how Jensen always points out the members of the crew who are often in the audience at VanCon every Sunday.

I've just finished gathering the Tweets from the SPN con in Nashville this weekend, so seeing the boys on stage again after a long break was a wonderful sight to behold. Btw, I urge you all to check out the video of the J2 Main Panel video from SPNNASH. It's probably the best J2 panel I've ever seen. It's an emotional rollercoaster, but it's totally epic!

Anyway, I wanted to post something from past SPN cons and found this. Some real gems in here. Happiness all around. Enjoy!

I meant to post this last weekend and well...RL intervened. *sigh*

This video is so FUNNY! Rich giving poor Rob such a difficult time over Chuck saying there wasn't enough time to bring Gabriel back in Season 11. Btw, I love the idea a fan brought up (and Misha built on) about having Gabriel just keep popping up in the background of every episode! It could be like Where's Waldo!

Sorry about the blurry beginning, but it clears up real fast and in time for the stage jump. *glees* Btw, the boys ran up onto the stage from the back of the room (or at least the doors on the side). I see they did it again at PittCon, too - but they did it here at VanCon first!

This is the only opening-of-the-day video I have from this con and I'm sad I don't have the other ones from Friday and Saturday. Especially Saturday's because Rich did a whole monologue about the fandom and it was so great! I'll have to see if someone else has it out there on youtube.

Anyway, this is in 2 parts because it was just a bit too long to upload to youtube. Rob and the band kick things off with my favorite Doobie Brothers song, "Long Train Running" and then we have Rich going into his song "Rob Loves Bottoms"! I mean the reason the video is shaking is because I was laughing so much! LOL XD

Richard: "Let me tell you something, if you're here to see Jared and Jensen and you don't love their bottoms my friend you're dead."

Oh! And according to Rich the boys don't fart (oh, yeah? history proves Jared does!) but instead have "mystical butterflies that come out of their anus and take their smell far, far away!" Yes, the boys are..."sunshine wearing flannel". I love that description...so true! :D

Richard: "You will be so overwhelmed that you will overspend. You will engage in a practice we call fiscal irresponsibility and there's not a damned thing anybody can do to stop you. Not a damned thing. Nope. I can warn you all day long, but you will just look at me and say, 'Old man...what do you know? I need another 7 foot face of Jared Padalecki in my room. You can almost see wall. I need to cover it up with vinyl Misha.'"

I love the song "Amazing". Rob first sang this for us at last year's SNS and it's just as beautiful as ever. Then everyone gets on stage, including a lot of the SPN to join in on the kazoo solos for "Medicated".

This was posted all over Twitter earlier, so I feel safe in posting them here. We've all been so eager to see the Gag Reel since it wasn't shown at SDCC.

So much to love from the Monty Python credits (w/Bunny!!!!) to the boys messing with Misha (as always), to Jared referencing Charlie The Unicorn, and "Hands in the hair!". LOL Then there's the second part with all the antics on set when Richard was directing. Hee!

Btw, I've seen a lot of people complaining on Twitter and in the comments on Youtube for these 2 videos about Mark Sheppard not being in the Gag Reel and thinking it's suspicious. Well, for the record, I can't remember Mark being in many of the past Gag Reels. Sure he was there maybe once or twice, but not that much. So him not being in the one from last season didn't raise a red flag for me.

And then there's this...

I left a Tweet reply to SPN_Sil's concern over Mark's absence in the Gag Reel and...Mark Sheppard himself Liked it! So I'd say that speaks volumes. There was no conspiracy to keep Mark out of the Gag Reel, no maliciousness intended by the production. There simply wasn't any bloopers that happened during his scenes. It happens. These were taken with my smaller Canon camera and are not the greatest quality. My normal practice is to take a few shots with this camera at the beginning of each panel and then switch to my bigger Canon camera for the rest. I did no editing at all on these, they're simply presented "as is". Hopefully, you'll still find these pics enjoyable despite the light/contrast or blurriness issues. :)

We finish with Saturday's last panel with Misha. Always enjoyable and funny...though right now the only part of the panel I can recall is him telling us about this hand puppet character he created (which was also a masseuse) and it resulted in a traumatized West! Oh! It was also interesting to learn how he got his name (his mom thought Dimitri was Misha in Russian - it isn't).
