This man is beautiful inside & out, has loads of talent, is incredibly handsome, charming, and funny. He's brought to life some very interesting and memorable characters, none moreso than the one and only, Dean Winchester. I'm so thankful for the times I got to meet him in person. He was always so lovely and kind. I wish him nothing but the best in life and a very happy birthday at home with his family! :D

Played around with my favorite online image editors for a new post series I'm planning. Not using my caps this time, but SPN episode stills. Still trying to decide which way I want to go: strictly Black & White or add in color effects as well.

Anyway, here's a little preview of the pieces I experimented with, from 8x01.

Btw, I know a lot of people wouldn't consider these to be real fanart. Sometimes I don't either. Sometimes when I post these things I feel like a big, fat, fraud. But I do enjoy making them.

No idea which episode this is from. I just grabbed it from a "Then" recap of a Season 7 episode (which is why the background is all blurred).
Did a little tweaking in an image editor to make the background B&W and nice and smooth, but that's about it. But I like how it turned out.

Was playing around with new online image editors last week and turned this beauty Black & White.
Doesn't it look like it was taken from an old film noir flick? I'm just drawn to Dean's eyes.

Took this random cap and then it sat in a folder and I forgot which episode it's from. Pretty sure it's from Season 13. And since I can't name which episode it's from, why not use it for a fanart piece? ;)

It's time once again to wish a very Happy Birthday to the elder Winchester brother, Dean!
He is my ultimate hero, even with his flaws. They just make him more interesting and add to his character. He is fiercely loyal to his family and friends and has the gift of having correct gut reactions to just about everyone. An excellent fighter, Dean can easily kill just about any monster and can hit a bullseye with a knife or a gun. He loves pie and classic rock. Seriously, what's not to love about this guy? ♥ :)

Gotta admit that I originally tried an HDR filter on this and it looked too realistic. It made me uncomfortable. So I went with this more dreamy, soft look instead.

Really like this red effect on Sam. Reminiscent of the effect the show used when Gordon was a vampire & hunting Sam from Season 3.

I'm in the process of saving some of my better old Fanarts from my PhotoBucket accounts and re-uploading them to SlickPic, and thought I'd better post them (again) for posterity.
