Still trying to get back to posting semi-regularly around here. It's tough with RL stuff!

Anyway, I'm attempting to tackle capping several programs right now, which is a first. It used to be just SPN. Now I've got Walker, Big Sky, The Boys, & well....still SPN. :P

Sorry for the lack of Walker caps. My Season 2 caps are still in a bit of a mess and now with new seasons & shows starting up, I haven't had a chance to post anymore. Hopefully I can get back to it soon!

Who wants Jensen in Big Sky caps?
I've got caps of him in 2x18 and the first 3 episodes of Season 3 (in High Res!).

Note: A recent problem has developed with SlickPic where people cannot download my images/caps except as a webp file. I've tried everything to find a solution, but there's nothing I can do to fix it. Since I didn't make any changes myself, I can only assume this is a problem on SlickPic's end. I'm hoping that eventually it will be resolved, but it's already gone on for at least a couple of weeks.

However, this will not effect my caps IF I share them in a post as clickable thumbnails. As long as the cap count is fairly low, I'm willing to do this. If the cap count is high (over 500)? Well...I'll have to think about it. Of course, I'll always provide a link to a zipped folder of the entire set of caps. So maybe it won't be an issue??? Not sure how everyone grabs my caps...

Hello...long time, no hear, I know.

I realize that in the past several months my LJ posts have dropped off a bit. My schedule is such right now, that I often don't even get online Wednesday or Thursday nights anymore. My Just 'Cause posts are not the daily thing they used to be. Sadly, I don't see this changing anytime soon.

However, I have been taking steps to increase my posts a bit.

SPN may be over, but I've got a TON of things left to post for it. If you knew the number of misc. videos alone that need to be capped....yikes!

And then there's capping the episodes themselves, which I've never been able to complete. Well, I'm a completionist and I fully intend to cap every SPN episode. And only a few seasons of SPN have been fully capped (10, 13, 15). So there's a lot to do.

Fortunately, I'm providing the caps for Fangasm on Twitter as she's currently doing a big SPN rewatch and reviewing each episode on her website. We didn't hook up right away, but I started capping for her with the end of Season 1. She's currently about in the middle of Season 2. So for me, this is a great way to get the episodes capped and help out a fellow fan. Btw, I'm also sharing my Walker caps with Lynn and the folks at WinchesterFamilyBusiness.com for all of their reviews.

I know what you're thinking...we haven't seen any of these episode cap posts (outside of Walker).
I hope to start posting them real soon!

See, I realized something was holding me back from posting the SPN episode caps, which is actually kind of silly. I'd been making a fanart piece for my cap posts, with the name & # of the episode and all that. Problem is, these take time to make. Time that I don't have in abundance anymore. Again, the completionist in me says I should continue the tradition....but the realist in me is saying, "The hell with that!". My cap posts don't NEED fanart "headers" or whatever you wanna call them. All I need is a sample cap outside of the cut and it'll be fine ('cause we're all attracted to pretty & a post without something visual is just plain boring!). So instead of letting a little thing like a perfect post header getting in the way of posting things...I'm going to make it easier on myself and thus share things with you all a bit faster. Better for everyone! ;)

Having a hard time figuring out which Misc. Cap sets to tackle & post next so....I thought I'd ask all of you!
Obviously, these will all be shared, but I'm curious what you want first. Plus, there's many more videos to cap after all of these are done!

I'm in the process of posting my SPN Season 15 Highlight Caps (another post of them will go up tomorrow), but I also have a few random older episodes capped from when I was filling some of your Just 'Cause cap requests months ago. They're just sitting around, waiting to be fixed & posted. But which to do first?

I've talked before how I hate "over-capping", where I end up capping too much. What is considered too much? Generally, once I go over 1,000. I go beyond that and the sorting & deleting process is a MAJOR PAIN! It's just not fun & it takes forever. It's been known to take me 3 days to sort & delete a huge set of caps!

I mean, I love the boys and all, but sometimes looking at thousands of images of them can get tiring. Believe me!

So here is my progress & thoughts through capping SPN Season 14 so far. As you can see, I'm fighting a losing battle in the "over-capping" department. Now, granted, some of this is because I'm also capping for Locations (many caps of which won't be included in the Highlight Caps) but I'm still not looking forward to sorting & deleting through all of these. Sheesh!

In preparation for the upcoming SPN Hiatus, I've been thinking of what projects I want/need to work on over the next 5 or so months. Tonight I compiled a list of 30 videos to screencap!

The question is NOT "Do I want to cap these, even if nobody else wants them?". Because I want the caps myself. No, the question is...what order do I do all of these in???

To give you a rough idea of what types of videos these are:

- J2 on various talk shows from 2017 & 2018
- Hillywood's SPN Parody 2 & their other videos for it
- Various SPN Production videos...such as Jensen Directing, Making the 200th ep & "Scoobynatural", etc.
- Several EW videos of the SPN cast
- Nerd HQ SPN Panels from 2015 & 2016
- SDCC SPN Panel Videos from 2015 & 2016
- A handful of misc. type videos (again, all SPN Cast related)

How would you rate these categories above, in order of importance?
Please comment & give me a rating for each category out of 7.
For example: Hillywood (1 of 7), Nerd HQ (2 of 7), etc.

Follow-up to yesterday's post...

Thank you all for your comments yesterday. A lot of you mentioned watermarking my caps and I have considered it, but here's why I don't want to take that step.

- It's more work and making and sharing these caps is time-consuming enough as it is.
- I'd have to put the watermark in the middle of the caps somewhere since this person is re-posting them on Instagram, which crops everything square.
- Watermarking the caps really limits what they can be used for and would be an annoyance for anyone who wanted to use the for fanart or icons.

Mostly it just feels like a drastic step for all the above reasons just due to one bad apple in the fandom who doesn't believe in crediting anyone. Though in all fairness, they re-posted one of my on-set photos (that are watermarked) from 13x03 and they not only kept the watermark, but credited me in the post. So it was basically double-crediting me. But somehow they can't credit my SPN caps. *shrugs* Very weird.

Anyway, you win some battles and lose others. Thankfully, most of the fandom are pretty good about giving credit. It's just a matter of dealing with or accepting the few bad eggs out there that don't.

Was busy overnight capping 3 Season 7 episodes for various things. Forgot how tiring capping that many episodes in one go can be. Phew! Started to get capper's cramp. :P
I also did an initial Sort/Delete of the Highlight Caps for 13x10, but I think I'll have one more go through to eliminate just a few more. So many characters! Gah!

Anyway, I thought I'd post a quick little preview of the Cap Sets that I'm currently working on, or just made. Just a little taste to share what all I'm working on (or most of it anyway).

Note: Keep in mind that almost none of the caps below are in their finished, fixed state.

Trying to get my butt in gear and tackle a lot of the SPN episodes that I've never capped.
I used Google's Random Number Generator to pick these 3 episodes. You all vote and whichever episode gets the most votes will be the one I cap next (and hopefully post in a timely manner). ;)
