I know I just posted a new SPN Name That Cap Challenge yesterday, but I'm now seriously rethinking eliminating Fridays for the time being. My schedule lately has made it nearly impossible to do the NTC posts for Friday and I'm unsure of when that will change.

The other night I capped Jensen's appearance on Mike Rosenbaum's Inside Of You podcast, which is now visual thanks to COVID-19. If you've seen the video/listened to the podcast, you know it runs at roughly an hour and a half. But I thought, well...a good chunk of that is Mike on screen. No worries! Ha!

I made over 2,000 caps.

Eeep! Now, to explain. I always take a few extra caps, especially when someone is moving around (and Jensen does move around!) just in case a cap is a little blurry. I wanna cover all the bases, so to speak. Well, in looking at my caps, there's hardly any blurry ones! Which is great...usually. But when there's over 2,000 caps? Not so much. I will also admit, that early in the video I was capping quite a bit. After a while, I got to noticing this and held myself back a little - not that it helped at all!

So here's my problem: I REALLY don't wanna sort through over 2,000 caps to get it down to a reasonable number. That's the honest truth. It's just the tedious part of capping. Now - if you REALLY want me to get the number of caps down...I will. It might take me a while, but I will.

Here be an example cap all fixed up as well as I can make it!
Now keep in mind that the exposure and the coloring on Jensen fluctuates throughout the video. So not every cap will look like this one.

I'm in the process of posting my SPN Season 15 Highlight Caps (another post of them will go up tomorrow), but I also have a few random older episodes capped from when I was filling some of your Just 'Cause cap requests months ago. They're just sitting around, waiting to be fixed & posted. But which to do first?

Thinking about bringing back the old SPN Name That Cap Challenge next week.
Ideally, I would have brought it back like a month or so ago, to help get us through hiatus, but...*sigh* best laid plans & all that.

Btw, I've got your suggestions about the challenge written down from way back months ago when I ended the last one and I've got some good ideas about hints. So I thought I'd ask about that, too. The hint might be under a cut? Or added to the post a day or so later? Those were the suggestions. I think I like the under a cut idea better. That way if you need the help, it's there. If not, that's cool, too. ;)

Trying to get my butt in gear and tackle a lot of the SPN episodes that I've never capped.
I used Google's Random Number Generator to pick these 3 episodes. You all vote and whichever episode gets the most votes will be the one I cap next (and hopefully post in a timely manner). ;)

Um, things have been a little quiet around here. Don't know if folks have given up on LJ, are busy with RL, or what? Bueller???

Anyway, as I mentioned last week, I still have some JibCon7 caps to post, but I've been wondering if people even want them. Granted, if even one person still wants the caps, I'll gladly post them, but it nobody does, I'll simply move on to other things.

The JibCon7 videos I still have left to post are: Misha & Jared Panel and Misha & Jensen Panel.

Had a terrible time with my internet last night during the east coast live stream of the Season 11 premiere. Thankfully, by the time the hour was over it had all settled down & I caught the re-airing by WillTV. Anyway, it set me back because it then took time to get my DLs of ep and the whole evening was off.

Which is why I don't have a review of the episode yet. :(

But it got me to thinking...should I keep doing the big review posts like I've always done? Or is a shorter review more in order? Seems like others on my Flist go the short route (correct me if I'm wrong). But I thought I'd ask all of you for your input.

Either of these options works for me. However, the Quick & Short Review can be posted each Wednesday night (or should be) but the Usual Long Review will most likely not show up on my journal until Thursday evening.

I usually post images of whatever SPN Calendars I get at the start of each month. Luckily, I was able to get the 3 calendars from Creation this year. But my question is...are people still interested in seeing the pictures or not?

Due to some diligent online digging, I might be able to get my hands on all the Season 8 episodes at an even bigger size!
We're talking 1920 x 1080 (1080p) instead of my usual 1280 x 720. *glees*

I already accidentally got 8x07 "A Little Slice Of Kevin" this way - so I thought I'd look for more.
Since I've only capped up to 8x06 so far, I've got no problem with doing those over again.
