This episode is always under much debate by the fans. Sure, the storyline is kind of weak, but as I always point out there's still some good aspects to the episode. And I'm not just talking about the Cassie/Dean love scene (though who am I kidding? it is a highlight!). There's also the change in the brotherly dynamic. Sam once again gets to see a different side to his brother as Dean deals with his conflicting emotions over Cassie.

This picspam contains 75 caps from Route 666. It covers more of the scene with the brothers in the car and then goes on to their meeting with Cassie at the newspaper office, discussing the case at her home, and then the two of them getting dressed for the funeral.

Boys! Sunshine! Yay! So often they're traveling in the Impala at night that it's so nice to see them out in the sun. Meanwhile, Dean in leather jacket...*thud*

Dean and his "Huh?" face and then his more annoyed expression. Aimed right at Sam, of course. ;) The Impala hits the road.

It's so rare that they shoot them in the car like this...head on, with both of them in focus. I like that green sweater, too. Don't think we've seen it since Playthings.

A whole row of the boys in the car! Some great expressions from Jensen, here, as Dean tries not to answer Sam's question. Then we get some tongue in the last cap.

Sammy's a bit upset that Dean told someone the big family secret. Dean's not much interested in talking about it either. Meanwhile, the 3rd cap has a nice profile of Dean.

I love this row of caps! It's like double smirks! Dean: serious, smirk. Sam: serious, smirk.

Sam is thoroughly enjoying watching Dean and his old flame, Cassie get reacquainted.

The last 2 caps in this row are amusing. Cassie hands them each a cup of tea. Look at Dean looking at it with some disgust in the last cap. He's like, "I can't believe she's giving me tea!" Heehee!

Then he sets it aside right away! Tea is clearly not Dean's preferred drink of choice. Of course, Sam drinks it. *g*

Sam shows off the mop of doom. I always like these sideways glances from Dean.

I keep getting distracted by Jensen's forearms...is that wrong? In the 2nd & 3rd caps the brothers share a smile and then a look, communicating in that special way they do. I really like this last cap of Dean, too.

A nice profile of Sam and then some wonderful caps of the brothers. Again, it's rare that they're both in focus like this.

OMG! This has to be one of the best rows of Dean caps!!! Gorgeous! All of them! The lighting, the nice blurred background that doesn't distract, and then there's handsome Jensen himself. :D

Wait a minute! How did that Sam cap get in there? Ha! :) Two more lovely caps of Dean...*sigh* It must be fun coming up with the different motel room schemes each week. Check out the stuffed pheasant on the table.

I love unusual shots like this first cap filmed through the iron of the bed frame. Too cool! In the second cap, we again see the show's use of mirrors. Try not to have heart failure from the last cap in this row...oh...my....*flails* Can I wrap him up and just take him home with me? Please?
