Tue/Thurs SPN Picspam # 35

The Usual Suspects is one of those unique episodes in that it proved that you could have an episode where the two leads were in every other scene together and it would still work. The reason it worked was because even while Sam & Dean were being held separately by the police, they were still working together.

There are 38 caps in this week's only SPN picspam. The quality is okay, considering I'm working from a downloaded avi file for this episode. I can at least say they turned out better than last week's Tall Tales caps. For that reason alone I was able to make these the usual large size (808 x 447). Because of the separate scenes between Sam & Dean, I had to include quite a few caps to get to a scene with Dean. In fact, Sammy is featured heavily in this picspam, so I'm sure all you Sammy!Girls will be happy about that. But not to worry, Dean!Girls, there's plenty of our guy here as well.

The Usual Suspects

Some lovely Hand!Porn from Dean, Sammy gets caught, Dean's smoldering first shot in the ep, and Sam pleading innocence to guest star, Linda Blair.


I gotta be honest and say I'm not used to talking too much about caps of Sam. But Jared looks real good in this episode. And I'll say again that I much prefer his S2 hair over S1.


The many moods of Sam...broody, defiant, and a little concerned.


Jared shows he can use his expressive eyes as much as Jensen. A rare profile shot of Sam and looking a little upset over Dean's predicament.


A sad look from Sam in the first cap before the smug little smile as he begins to weave his tale. The 3rd cap? The best of both worlds, folks. Not only do we get Dean with a pen in his mouth (a la Dead In The Water) but we get a little ass shot from Sam. And I don't know why Jared's hair is particulary red looking in this scene, but it makes Dean's line about Sam being Scully even funnier.


Ah, Dean, looking oh, so gorgeous as usual.


The man loves his coffee. Sam has his serious face on as he checks out the story about the first victim.


Even Jared can do the whole mouth snarl thing that Jensen usually does. Dean's eager to get on with the hunt.


*Melts* The second cap...that smile will get me every time.


Mulder and the red-headed woman...hey, someone had to say it. :)
