Got to watch this movie earlier today and naturally made some caps.

I've got my thoughts about the movie under the cut for those who haven't seen it yet.
Warning! The caps can be considered spoilery.

For someone who isn't even into the Batman franchise I found that I could dive into this animated film right away. The few characters I didn't know were quickly identified and I never once felt lost. The animation was great, though I have very little to compare it to, but it's style was very slick and polished as one would expect from this type of film. I'd like to especially point out the opening and closing credits which I thought were very nicely done. :)

As for Jensen, I thoroughly enjoyed hearing his voice. *g* I heard a lot of his DA Alec voice throughout the film, but in some of the more intense, later scenes he took on a bit more of a Dean tone, though not as deep-voiced. Makes you realize how much he does alter his voice on SPN. I'd like to add that I never would've guessed that was Neil Patrick Harris at all! Really loved the humor his character brought. As much as I'd love to actually "see" Jensen on the big screen again real soon, if he's offered more voice work like this I'd be equally happy. He has a distinctive voice and I truly love listening to it. :D

Highlights:
* The Red Hood not only drives a blue muscle car very much like the Impala, he rides a motorcycle as well.
* "You wanna dance? Let's dance." Ooooh.... :D
* The moment where he says "Crap"? I giggled.
* Even though it's animated I found myself imagining Jensen doing the fight scenes.
