Family Update

Got grandpa back to his home from the rehab place yesterday (Tuesday). Tried, unsuccessfully, to convince him to stay with my aunt for a few days. He's one stubborn man. He is doing better with walking and he's got the walker and 2 different kinds of canes as his disposal. Hopefully he will use them. We're still gonna worry though. My aunt made him promise to call at least once a week so we know he's okay. We'll see how that goes.

We didn't get home from his place until late (after midnight) so mom & I have virtually gotten little to no sleep. Her procedure is this morning. Next week we'll know the results and what she's up against.

I sure wish I felt more awake. Zzzzz.... How I'm going to stay awake while she's in having this done, I have no idea. :P I'm totally gonna crash when we get home and I'm sure mom will too. What a messed up day this is gonna be. Wish me luck for staying awake the next few hours. Good thoughts for mom would be nice, too. :)
