"Pearl Harbor" Trailer Music

As promised, here is the download links and info. about the "Pearl Harbor" trailer music it's taken me years to find. Apparently I'm not the only one who loves this music, as several of you responded to my earlier post and asked for the downloads. I'm only too happy to share this, as it is such a rare piece of music.

As I stated in my other post, much of the early information I learned about this music turned out to be wrong. The first of the two pieces in the trailer has always been known to be "I'll Wait For You" by Graeme Revell from "The Crow 2" soundtrack. The second piece, and the one most sought after by those of us who fell instantly in love with it, was first identified as a selection from Hans Zimmer's score to "The Thin Red Line". This later proved to be wrong, however, as there is no passage of music from that score that even resembles the trailer music.
However, just a few nights ago, I searched once again for this elusive piece of movie trailer history. I found out it was "Goliath" by Steve Jablonsky. Trying to find a download of this track is next to impossible, but I was able to find a site that streamed the music, so I could then record it onto my computer using Audacity.
Here's the site and how to get to the track, if you want to check it out for yourself (there's other great music there, too!):
ExtremeMusic
- Click on Get Trax, then on Director's Cuts
- Click on Tracks A-Z and then select G and you'll see the title of Goliath
- Click on the name and the full length preview will automatically start to play
Downloads
I'm providing all the music involved in the "Pearl Harbor" trailer, both separately and together as they're heard in the trailer.
* "I'll Wait For You" (The Crow 2) by Graeme Revell via SendSpace (2mb)
* "Goliath" by Steve Jablonsky via SendSpace (2mb)
* Pearl Harbor (Trailer) via SendSpace (4mb)
As Dean said in the S2 finale, "Can cross that off the to-do list"! One less hard-to-find song/piece of music to track down! :D I always find myself coming back to the search after some time has gone by (after my initial search and frustration) and sometimes I get lucky. I've actually been finding a lot of music lately that I thought I'd never get. So don't give up on those songs you've been looking for over the years!
Happy listening! :D
