Been trying to get back on the exercise horse after almost 3 weeks and naturally I pick a cool, drizzly afternoon to do it. :P
At first I was cold (even in my heavy jacket & umbrella) and wondering why I decided this was a good idea, but by the time I was halfway done, I felt pretty good. I've packed on a few pounds (too many extra goodies and no walking) and I know I need to walk while the weather still allows me to. I took it easy, didn't try to walk fast or anything. Things were good as I was on the last little bit towards home...then a muscle in my right calf seized up on me. OW! I ended up limping the last few hundred feet home. Bleh. It's fine while I'm sitting here - doesn't hurt at all. Walking....a little tricky.
