raloriaMost of you are already well into 2008. We're still a few hours away here on the west coast of the U.S., so I thought it was time for a big New Years post!

2007 Reflection Meme

[1.] What did you do in 2007 that you have never done before?
Thread 16mm film into a magazine, wrote a short script that was turned into a student film project, got hooked on IM.
[2.] Did you keep all of last years resolutions?
I really doubt it....and I'm afraid to check to find out. :P
[3.] Have you any resolutions for next year?
Yep and a few of them will be listed here. :D
[4.] What countries did you visit?
Stayed at home in the U.S.
[5.] What would you like to have in 2008 that you didn't have in 2007?
More good fortune and positive opportunities.
[6.] What dates in 2007 will remain etched in your memory?
- The evening in February when I read where my teacher & mentor Phil Lucas had suddenly passed away.
- June 13th - My birthday, where I finally started to have fun in my life again since my dad's death last year.
- Oct. 4th - SPN S3 premiere!!!
[7.] What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Completing my college class requirements & learning I will graduate at last!
[8.] What was your biggest failure?
Not pursuing a relationship with MG more aggressively.
[9.] Did you suffer any illness or injury?
Not that I recall.
[10.] What was the best thing you bought?
My MacBook Pro! *pets shiny new laptop*
[11.] Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
LJ thieves & certain so called "fans" of SPN who talked trash about the boys.
[11a.] Whose behavior is worthy of celebration and praise?
So many people fall into this category....my mom, my best friend GeckoGirl, & my wonderful Flist.
[12.] Where did most of your money go?
Mostly to buying CDs.
[13.] What did you get really really really excited about?
My birthday spent with my bestest buddy, GeckoGirl and SPN's Christmas episode.

[A] Fatter or thinner? Probably about the same. *sigh*
[B] Happier or sadder? Happier.
[C] Richer or poorer? Richer because I didn't spend as much this year.
[16.] What do you wish you'd done more of?
Exercise...Livejournaling really puts a crimp on your physical activity. Bah.
[17.] What do you wish you'd done less of?
Abusing my body by staying up so late and only getting 3 or 4 hours of sleep.
[18.] How did you spend Christmas?
With my mom & our other close relatives at my aunt & uncle's house.
[19.] Which LJ users did you meet for the first time?
Sadly, nobody. Bummer. :(
[20.] Did you fall in love in 2007?
Started to have feelings for MG and then found out he's already involved with someone.
[21.] How many one night stands?
None.
[22] What was your favorite TV show?
Supernatural!!! (like that was a surprise?)
[23.] Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nobody that I can think of.
[24.] What was/were the best books you read?
All 4 SPN related books: "Nevermore", "Witch's Canyon", S1 Companion, & that Monster one. Various parts of textbooks for my classes, too.
[25.] What was your greatest musical discovery?
Neko Case....I love her voice & her songs became the soundtrack to my summer.
[26.] What did you want and get?
A new TV & my laptop!
[27.] What did you want and not get?
A new desktop computer (but I'll get it soon!) & some weight loss (which is entirely my own darn fault).
[28.] What were your favorite films this year?
Ocean's 13....(see the next question)
[29.] What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?
I turned 34 & had lunch and saw Ocean's 13 with my best friend.
[30.] What one thing would have made your year more satisfying?
Losing some weight and basically taking better care of myself.
[31.] How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
Fashion concept? What fashion concept??? I like to wear jeans and t-shirts or nice sweaters.
[32.] What kept you sane?
My best friend GeckoGirl & members of my Flist who really boosted my morale when I was down.
[33.] Which celebrity did you fancy the most?
Gee....this is so hard.... Ha! Jensen Ackles...'nuff said.
[34.] Which political issue stirred you the most?
The war in Iraq.
[35.] Who did you miss?
My dad & then MG.
[36.] Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned this year?
Even though you're missing someone doesn't mean you have to stop living life and having fun.
