"Make My Day" Meme

raloriaI've seen this all over my flist over the past few days and since I was tagged a few times....
Pick 10 people and give them the "you make my day" award. If you're picked, you are charged with picking 10 of your own.
First of all, I just want to say that in all honesty when I first saw this meme around I was bothered by it. Still am, in fact. It's just another popularity contest to me, which I've never really liked. If you find your name listed, you're thrilled. Someone likes you or at least likes what you're doing enough to include you on their list. But if you're not one of the 10 (or more)? Yeah, it stings a little. It's like not getting picked for a team on the playground. You try not to take it personally and you move on. But a tiny part of you is still hurt.
To those of you who included me on their list...thank you. I am honored to have been included. If I wasn't included on someone's list? No harm done. I'm sure a lot of factors went into your decision and maybe we don't know each other all that well yet or just haven't quite clicked. It's cool. I get it. Hopefully we can change that. :)

trystan830 and tossing out the rules. To put it simply, you're all on the list.
You all "make my day" in one way or another. Mostly by just being my friends. :)
Whether we're already good LJ buddies or just haven't made that strong of a relationship yet, you're all special to me. I found a connection with you and we friended each other. That certainly makes you worthy of being on my list. No need to feel pressured to do this meme yourself. It's completely up to you.
