I wasn't going to do anything like this, kept talking myself out of it, then I finally figured, "What the hell?" and so here it is. My family stopped giving each other gifts YEARS ago (though in later years my aunt tended to break that rule, but now with her gone....), so there certainly won't be any this year.

THE GUIDELINES

Step One
- Make a post (public, friends locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. ~~The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes.~~ The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a _____ icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two
- Surf around your friends list (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

MY WISH LIST

This is going to be real easy because everything here is virtual and free. I know what you're thinking...I make my own icons and I write fic. What do I need these things for? Well, being the one who makes these things all the time, it would be nice to be on the receiving end of such works for once. :)

Oh! One thing about all graphics....please don't use reversed/backward images of anyone. I can always tell and it's a pet peeve of mine. Sorry! *skulks back under rock*

♦ Icons -- Anything SPN related but especially Dean or Jensen or Sam & Dean, the most recent seasons the better (hello? Purgatory Dean is HOT). Nothing slashy, please. Otherwise, I'm pretty open to whatever text (or not). Btw, since I can't make animated icons myself I'd LOVE to have some of those. ♥ :)

♦ Wallpapers -- I'd love any Jensen/Dean or SPN related wallpapers. My screen size is 1680x1050.

♦ Headers/Banners -- I've got a lot of my own headers, but I'd love to see what others can make. Again, Dean/Jensen or SPN in general. Please don't make the headers any wider than 1050 pixels and at least 300 pixels high. Thx. Banners I'm not so picky about, though my sidebar can only fit graphics that are 200 pixels wide.

♦ FanFic -- I LOVE angsty hurt/comfort fic, the more graphic the better. SPN only, please. Preferably with Dean being the hurt one, but if it's Sam I won't mind. Please no slash, crossovers, or wee!chesters.

♦ 8x07 "A Little Slice Of Kevin" -- If anyone can find me a logo-free download of this ep I will love you forever! It needs to be 1280x780 in resolution and an mkv file. [Long shot, but I figured I might as well ask.]
