To update from my previous post...

Well, the good news is that demonicangel26's website is no more. Everyone can breathe a sigh of relief at that. I honestly think all your comments and Reports of Abuse to the site helped, so thank you to everyone who let their voices be heard! We clearly won a swift victory here.

Meanwhile, for me the fight goes on. While she is no longer using my icon as her default, it's still on her LJ and is still uncredited. I'm doing some digging (yes! Google search!), and I think I've found a post on dean_sam from last month where she commented. So I'm going to try asking her there to please remove my icon from her journal. All I can do is try, right?

So I'm not giving up on this. I'm stubborn and right now this quote from Dean feels very appropriate.

"That fabric softner teddy bear, ooh, gonna hunt that little bitch down."

Heh. :P The web is my playground, I can find anything and anyone on here. So beware LJ thieves...I can find you. Mwuahahahah!

My last update on this LJ thief matter (promise)

Well, I just asked her to please (yes, I said please) remove my icon from her LJ. Not only did she remove the icon, she deleted her LJ completely. She really didn't have to take it that far, but I'll admit, she certainly didn't make any friends on LJ with her actions. Maybe this is for the best.

Just in case you're curious...here's what I said to her over at dean_sam:

While I appreciate you are no longer using my Dean Angel icon (the one I'm using here) as your default, it is still on your LJ without any credit to me. Since you did not ask my permission to use it, I would appreciate it if you would please remove it from your journal.

I spent a great deal of time making that icon and I don't like it when my works are stolen. Thank you.

I kept it civil, I think. Said "please" and "thank you" and didn't get abusive. Meh. Oh, well.

Guess we can call this chapter of LJ abuse closed.
*uses Dean - Eyes icon...now that it's completely mine again*
