Random Ramblings & "Wicked Weather"*

SPN Thursday is here! *bounces* Let the excitement begin. I'm a little over 3 hours away from showtime and can't wait to see the further adventures of Dean & Sam. :)
Meanwhile, how 'bout a random ramble? You know you love them.
* Spent Tuesday chatting online with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
trystan830 & my best friend GeckoGirl!!!! Yes! GeckoGirl and I can now IM each other. Sweet! We were both so excited. So "Hi!" to my best buddy! Can't wait to talk to you again real soon, sweetie! :D Meanwhile, Trystan & I had a grand old time gabbing as we always do. It's awesome talking to you too, hun. I had so much fun that evening I almost didn't care that I was suffering from a massive headache.
* Got my quiz back in the Philosophy class. Failed it just like I'd feared. The instructor admitted that not only was that section of the book difficult, but the quiz as well. We're allowed to contest the answers and people got him to give some points back for certain questions. But wouldn't you know, the ones most people got wrong were the few questions I answered correctly! *Sigh* So I didn't get any points back. Bah. He promised the next chapter would be easier and he was right, so there's hope for improvement yet.
* 3.02 is all capped and I'm working on my review right now. Well, not right now 'cause I'm typing this post....well...you get what I mean. :) It'll be posted as soon as I finish and can upload my mini-caps to PB.
* Western Washington's first big wind storm of the season is blowing through right now. There's been gusts up to 50 and 60 mph. Lots of trees falling & power outages reported (but not here...crosses fingers). Our lights keep flickering though. Guess that's why my internet connection's so great right now...Wheeeeee! I just hope this dies down by 9:00 for SPN. Digital TV's different from analog. If the signal to analog gets disrupted you still get a picture. With digital it pixelates really bad and you can lose the picture completely! Yikes! I was trying to set one of our antennas (we have 3) for our CW station earlier and I think I found one that works despite the wind blowing. Nearly had a heart attack when a big gust came and the signal disappeared for several seconds. Luckily the channel returned. Phew! However, another channel didn't. Guess their tower lost power. I sure hope the CW one lasts. I don't wanna miss my show...*whimper*
* Got some replies done yesterday at the college after class. Yaaaaay! Slowly but surely I'm making progress, folks. :)
That's all I've got for now. Sure hope my power stays on! *knocks on wood* Hope the weather's calmer wherever you are right now. *hugs flist*
