Happiness is....

OMG!!!!!!!! You can't imagine how excited and happy I am right now! :D

I just had to make a post and squee about this, besides....I kinda promised I'd let you all know what happened. ;)

Remember my earlier ranting over my sucky dialup internet connection?

Well, that is no longer a problem! Yaaaaaaaay!!!!!! Why, you may ask? Uh....Santa came early? Heh. Actually, I took the leap and signed up for that Clearwire service that I mentioned in my post. It works! *is so happy* It's soooooooo much faster than my dialup! I can view picspams, videos, graphics-heavy websites. I can download stuff that I used to have to wait to get at the college computer lab. It's probably not as fast as most people have with cable, but this is far, far better than I had before. It's so awesome! *does major happy dance*

I've also got a shiny new MacBook Pro, which I'll be using for my career of video/film editing. I'm not a big fan of Macs, but it's the only platform that will run Final Cut Pro, which is the software I was trained to use for video editing. So this machine is an investment in my (hopefully) near future. It's a big step and I've got some learning to do ('cause while I've used Macs before, I've never owned one).

So I'm happy, excited, ecstatic, jubilant, bouncy...all of the above! I've been waiting for this day to come and everything worked out just like I'd hoped. :)

Btw, I want to let you dialup users out there know that I won't forget you in my posts. I'll keep on using clickable thumbnail images as much as I can. ;)

Meanwhile, send me some big Jensen pics! I can see them now! Yippeeeeeee! :D

All the good subject lines were eaten by Dean...

It feels good to finally be getting some things done! Improved internet....ahhhhhhhh....nothing like it! :D

We need a cap of the boys, don't we? It's Sunday and I think we need a little Jensen & Jared (or in this case, Dean & Sam) to cheer us up a bit, huh?



* It snowed here in the Puget Sound area yesterday. It was mostly in the north Sound, so we didn't see too much down here in the south end. But it was enough to make the trees look pretty. It's all melted away now, but it was nice while it was here. :D The next big storm comes in on Monday and it sounds like it's gonna be a wet and wild one. Yikes! Batten down those hatches!

* I was able to get to some of my replies. Yaaaay! Finally. It's clear to me now that some of those really old ones (we're talking from back in July or August...eep!) are just gonna stay remain unanswered. I'm sorry about that. If I find a spare moment I might try and go back to where I fell behind and reply back to the few that are still relevant. Other than that, I'm just gonna do what I can with the more recent ones. Hope you understand and I'm really gonna do my best to keep up with the comments in the future. It'll definitely be one of my New Year's resolutions. ;)

* So the writer's strike goes on....*sigh* You'll notice I added an icon by Lexigeek in my sidebar along with some of my own thoughts on the matter. I've been trying to track down one of those strike icons for a while now. For all the latest strike happenings, check out this section of the Hollywood Reporter.

* It's still freaky seeing the actor who played Father Gil in the Sin City eppy in that UPS commercial! Every time I see it my brain just automatically thinks "demon, demon!". LOL!

* Two more weeks until a new SPN episode. *whimper* I'm starting to get impatient now. I wanna see that Christmas episode....NOW!!! I've read the sides, seen the promo pics...and it's killing me! Oh, and I've got a little contest idea for the eppy stewing in my widdle brain. Well, not really a contest, but something kinda fun all the same. I'll reveal it sometime this week. ;)

* I'm tired and my back is killing me. Got a lot of studying and other homework to do later on. Meh. Oh well, if I get a lot done, I'll feel better. *hugs flist* :)
