RIP Butch Cassidy & other news

Soooooo sleepy from a full day on the film set again. All outdoor stuff, which was fine because the weather was good. But towards evening it got very cold! Brrrrrr! And in an odd tidbit of info....there were little splatters of fake blood on my camera when I got home. Heh. Yep, it's a violent film. Anyway, an even longer day/night of filming for today (Sunday), but at least it'll be indoors.

In other news...

*** Paul Newman passed away on Friday. So shocking. A great person and actor. He will be missed.

*** My best wishes and prayers go out to justfreefallin. We might not be on each other's Flists anymore, but she has endured so much and now faces another trial. Big hugs to my former friend and screencapping mentor.

*** Got a phone call from trystan830 while on the set, and she informed me her modem up and died on her. So no internet for her from home for the next few days. :( Just a heads up to others on her flist.

Wow...kind of a depressing post. Sorry about that. I gotta get ready for filming later today, post today's cap, and then crash into bed.

I'm off to bed soon. Got an early call time....heh, well early for me, 10 a.m. But the filming location is a 40 mile drive, so....yeah....gotta get up early. Ugh. I don't do mornings.
I'm still catching up on things, so no going back to the Themes just yet. Random caps will continue for at least another week or until further notice. Have a good Sunday, everyone.

Another weekend of filming completed

Mmmph. Good news: we didn't end up filming as late today as was planned. Bad news: we didn't get all the scenes done and it was still an exhausting day. Good advice: falling asleep with your fingers on the keyboard results in a whole line of "k"s and not much else. Heh. We killed another character tonight. More fake blood. That stuff is so messy and once it starts to dry it gets incredibly sticky. Yuck! The actress was very patient. She had a whole mouthful of the stuff for several minutes while we finished setting up the shot. At least it has a "zesty mint" flavor, but I'm sure it wasn't very pleasant.

Now I get the next 5 days off. Yay! I'll be catching up on some much needed sleep tomorrow. Then I'll see what I can do about getting caught up once again. There's still caps to get from 4x02, the First Impressions post to do, the next DA caps to post, and oh, so much more. But for now....man, I'm hungry. It's after 10 p.m. and I haven't had any supper yet. *stomach growls* I might post something before I go to bed tonight....who knows. Maybe some Random Fanart? Yeah, that sounds do-able. ;)

Right now though...it's Beefaroni time. Yum! :)
