Random Ramblings on a headache rush

I has a headache. Ouchies. :(

I'm getting another download of 4x02. The one I had before....meh....supposed to be High-Def, but my test caps are all pixely. Yuck. So hopefully this download (actually 4 files - eep!) will be even better looking.

Meanwhile I'm sorting through my new & better caps of 4x01. I have to get over 1,000 caps down to under 50. OMG! Not easy! *chants: Murder your darlings* That's an old scriptwriting/filmmaking mantra, btw. ;) Comes in handy every now and then, especially with capping. So I'm sorting....but man, the caps look fantastic! I think you'll be very pleased. And I have all of the caps uploaded to MediaFire, so you can have them all.

I have a new shooting schedule for the film production, but I'm almost afraid to look at it. LOL! These are my days off after all. I sort of want to chill and not think about the film at least for another day or so. But who knows....it's probably just my headache talking. Don't want to deal with thinking about shooting this weekend with my head hurting.

As for future posts? I hope to cap 4x02 later today, after sleep and all that. Hopefully it won't take me all day and night like 4x01 did. Then I'll fix them, upload, sort the sample caps down to under 50, make some fanart pieces for First Impressions, re-watch the eppy and finish typing up my First Impressions, and then make that post....hopefully before Thursday evening. That's my deadline. Hope I make it. Okay, I'm rambling now, which I always do when I'm tired or hurting. Should probably go to bed early tonight. Heh. Yeah, I'll believe that when I see it too. :P

Got my download of 4x02 done, but I'm still working on sorting the caps for 4x01. So far I've got the number down to a little over 200. *sigh* Gotta get brutal and get it down to at least 50. Yikes!

We don't need comms like this

I try to avoid fandom wank as much as possible, but this is the second time a friend of mine has been attacked at a certain comm and I'm sick of it.

If there was ever a more hateful place in this fandom, this comm has to be it. I don't see what's so funny or amusing about attacking people anonymously. What a cowardly act. And this from a comm that claims right in their sidebar to be a "friendly environment". You've got to be kidding me? They're anything but friendly over there.

The main posts are hurtful enough, but the comments they generate are even worse. And so many of them are from anonymous commenters who want nothing but attention for themselves by stirring up the fandom. I don't understand the mentality of such people. All they want to do is poison this fandom with their hate. To attack good, caring fans of the show and it's actors is a despicable act. I wish we could wipe that comm completely offline. We don't need that kind of crap in this fandom.

Since my former recorded caps of 4x01 were so disappointing to me, I've since made the decision to use downloads of the episodes to cap from. So I've gone back and re-capped the first episode of the season and IMO they look much better.
