This cap is from S2 "Crossroad Blues".

I wanted something happy for Friday, so how about one of both the guys smiling and laughing? :D
Okay, so the comments alluded me again. *sigh* But I am now determined that they will be taken care of by the end of the weekend. It is going to happen! I have posts I want to do, dammit! And I can't make anymore big posts until the comments are under control. Happy Friday everyone! *hugs*

PETA is at it again. This time with President Obama as their target. Sheesh. I wish I was making this stuff up. It's so ridiculous.

PETA: Did Obama have to swat that fly?

Excerpts:

The group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants the flyswatter in chief to try taking a more humane attitude the next time he's bedeviled by a fly in the White House.

During an interview for CNBC at the White House on Tuesday, a fly intruded on Obama's conversation with correspondent John Harwood. "Get out of here," the president told the pesky insect. When it didn't, he waited for the fly to settle, put his hand up and then smacked it dead. "Now, where were we?" Obama asked Harwood. Then he added: "That was pretty impressive, wasn't it? I got the sucker."

[PETA spokesman Bruce Friedrich] said that PETA was pleased with Obama's voting record in the Senate on behalf of animal rights and noted that he has been outspoken against animal abuses.

Still, "swatting a fly on TV indicates he's not perfect," Friedrich said, "and we're happy to say that we wish he hadn't."

Wow. So the president isn't perfect. He killed a fly. I guess in PETA's eyes he's going straight to hell for that one. Like none of of PETA's members have ever killed an insect before. Pfffft! Please!

As some of the commentators on KOMO's website have said...where is PETA when these puppy mills are discovered? What are they doing about the animal shelters that are running out of food? These are the issues they should be concerned about, not the death of one little fly. Talk about a warped sense of priorities.

Quit taking my music sites away from me! First Seeqpod gets taken down and now Grooveshark is being sued by EMI. :(

Download Squad: Grooveshark Faces Lawsuit From EMI

No, no, no! Do. Not. Want.

I hope Grooveshark survives. Again....all those playlists I have there. *whimpers & clutches website*

That's it. I'm going to bed. Too much craziness going on. *hides*

Today is the 3 year anniversary of me joining this great online world called Livejournal.

My how this journal has grown. I went from barely posting at all to averaging around 3 to 5 posts a day (sometimes more)!

Thanks to all of you who have stopped by, commented (or not), and spent some time in my little corner of the huge LJ world. I'm grateful for all the connections I've made, the friendships that have formed. You never fail to amaze me with your talents, generosity, loyalty, and love. This LJ wouldn't be what it is without all of you. *hugs* :D

I lucked out with the weather today. The rain went away and the sun came out this afternoon, making for perfect conditions for my walk. I took the big loop through Cherry Park, the big loop in our neighborhood (with the hill, more about that in a sec), then my modified route of the small and medium loops. Got myself back to over 2 miles again! Woot! \0/ Wasn't sure I was up to it, but I pushed myself. I'm never going to lose any weight unless I do, so I kept charging on. :)

Of course, by the time I got to walking up that hill on our street I was already tired, so I needed to use some imagery to help me out. I happened to be listening to a pretty waltz on the mp3 player at that moment, so I imagined myself dancing with Jensen....with him in a tux (ala Dean in RSAM). Yum! He's an amazing dancer, I tell you! We swirled around the room! Heehee! Hey, it helped. :P
