Status Update

We had our first windstorm of the season in western WA (and even up in Vancouver BC) last night. It knocked out power all around the Puget Sound area, including our house at around 9:15 p.m. Didn't get restored until sometime in the 5 o'clock hour this morning. Luckily, it wasn't a very long power outage because it was sure looking and sounding that way last night with over 145,000 people without electricity in Western Washington.

Missed out on a bunch of my TV shows last night because of it: DWTS (though I saw a little over half of it), Castle, Hawaii Five-O, & Lie To Me (which I was downloading when the power went....D'oh!). Bummer.

I was able to Tweet from my phone about the power outage, so it might be a good idea to keep track of me on Twitter. I'm almost always on there and if something goes wrong I can still communicate that way.

Anyway, I thought I'd explain why there wasn't a Just 'Cause cap for a lot of you this morning. I'm going to go post it now. Aaaahhhh. Nice to have cozy heat again. :)

A little late with today's Sammy Tuesday cap, but I hope it was worth the wait. ;)
Um, not much to say. I'm still behind in my SPN eppy reviews. Not sure when I'll get those up, though I'm aiming now for before this week's episode. *crosses fingers* This week turned out to be a lot busier with RL stuff than I'd planned and last night's power outage sure didn't help. Now they're saying by the end of the week our temps will drop and there's possibly a chance of a little lowland snow? :( Do Not Want. Gah. Sleepy...and I've got a busy day ahead. *hugs*
