Welcome to my Dreamwidth Journal

Because of all the attacks on Livejournal, I've had to bite the bullet and finally get an account here. Things at the moment are so bad that I can't even get into my Insane Journal, hence the jump here to Dreamwidth.

I'm still learning my way around this place and I'm sure it's going to take people a while to find me (and for me to find them), but until these attacks on LJ are over, I might very well have to use this journal for a while. Time will tell how things go. I'll keep you updated as to how I'll be using this journal and at what capacity.

Yesterday I posted about my Insane Journal that I use for emergencies like these recent attacks on LJ. Well tonight I realized that the attacks seemed to effect Insane Journal as well. Peachy! :(

So, thanks to dahliablue, I now have a Dreamwidth account. Thanks again, hun. :D

I'm not sure yet how much I'll use Dreamwidth, but if LJ goes down for any length of time (tonight it was 3-5 hours!), count on me being there. I've got it set up to crosspost to my LJ if I so choose, (and I think I'll link the Insane Journal one in there, too) which should help link them all together. Ooops! Nevermind. Guess you can only choose one other journal to crosspost to from Dreamwidth. That means my LJ one only.

So if you have a Dreamwidth, feel free to friend me over there and please leave me a comment here so I can add you back. ;)

What did I do Tuesday? Posted a bunch of pics on Tumblr. :P Yep, that's basically it. LOL Didn't help that LJ was down for big chunks of the day and night. Even Twitter went down for a little bit. Sheesh. All of a sudden Tumblr is the stable one. I'm off to bed. Have a good Wednesday folks, oh and vote for Jensen at the E!Online Alpha Male Poll! Vote! Vote! Vote! :D

Edit: Btw, one of you expressed concern that I appear to be jumping ship and going to Dreamwidth. No way! LJ is my home and where I'm most comfortable. Heck, this is a paid account. I'm not going anywhere! Dreamwidth, like Insane Journal, is only for emergencies.
