Took me a while to get just the right image here, but I persisted! Dean's little comment about South Beach makes me chuckle because of Jensen's own ongoing wish for the brothers to go after a creature somewhere tropical like Hawaii. Don't think it'll ever happen, but he can keep dreaming. *g*

My goal is to post a title cap each day until I catch up to Season 7 and then it'll be weekly. Each cap has been given the same effect in Picnik, which I think provides a nice gritty, cinematic feel.

DEAN: "Hey, what's up?"
SAM: "Might have found some omens in Ohio. Dry lightning, barometric-pressure drop."
DEAN: "Well, that's thrilling."
SAM: "Plus, some guy blows his head off in a church and another goes postal in a hobby shop before the cops take him out. Might be demonic omens."
DEAN: "Or just a suicide and a psycho scrapbooker."
SAM: "But it's our best lead since Lincoln."
DEAN: "Where in Ohio?"
SAM: "Elizabethville. It's a half-dead factory town in the rust belt."
DEAN: "There's got to be a demon or two in South Beach."
SAM: "Sorry, Hef. Maybe next time."

Ah, "The End". The gift that keeps on giving. *g*
I don't even know how to talk about my life at the moment. Each day seems like an endurance test. The worst part is my life's been turned upside down and there doesn't appear to be any normalcy in sight anytime soon. *sigh* One nice, normal, quiet day is all I ask. Good Thursday to you all. *hugs*

Just a quickie update.

:: Yes, the furnace is still not working at our house, or as I'm currently calling it, the ice box. We have one more day of other things we need to take care of and then I think/hope we can start looking for an electrician.

:: My aunt was discharged from the hospital Wednesday night. Mom & I got there around 5 p.m. to pick her up. First thing she wanted? A McDonald's hamburger. She was so sick of tomato soup. Seems like they'd been giving her that for days. All she had was a craving for was a burger. I think my cousin was a little pissed that we gave in to her unhealthy cravings, but that's really all she wanted and there isn't much food in the house at the moment. Besides...she ate the whole thing and loved every bit of it. It was just one little burger. She could finally eat some real food for once that wasn't a liquid.

:: So now we begin living with my aunt. Not sure how this is going to work. Mom & I already feel discombobulated and out of our routines. No denying I miss my room. *sigh*

:: I hope by this weekend I'll have some idea of what I'll be able to do Christmas card-wise. Still holding out hope that can send some out in time.
