SPN Episode Title Caps: 3x06 Red Sky At Morning

Skipped the quotes this time 'cause they were kinda...boring? Just the boys interview Ms. Case and her flirting with Sam, which was more of a visual thing anyway. Heh. Poor Sam. :P

My goal is to post a title cap each day until I catch up to Season 7 and then it'll be weekly. Each cap has been given the same effect in Picnik, which I think provides a nice gritty, cinematic feel.

New Header, Background, and Mood Theme

Despite what's going on in my RL, I'm still trying to have some Christmas spirit. I keep playing the music on the car radio and I'm starting to work on my holiday cards.

So I thought a change of things here on my LJ would help: an old favorite background and one of my Xmas headers.

Saturday was better than Friday, thank goodness. You gotta be thankful for the little things. I'm trying to get used to my new situation and making some progress. Will it ever warm up around here??? Even a little??? I know it's December, but c'mon enough with the freezing temps! *sigh* Have a good Saturday folks. *hugs*

Holiday Card Reminder & Update

I actually mailed off 8 cards on Friday. Yay! It's a start. :)

With time until Christmas fast running out, I'm rethinking my options. I want to send out as many cards as possible, but I'm afraid it might be too late for any international cards to reach their destinations.

If you're one of my international friends, would you mind getting an E-Card from me this year?

If you still want a regular card and don't mind if it arrives after Christmas (or even New Year's) then I'll be happy to still send you one, but this gives you the option. :)

From bad to worse

Yesterday (Friday) wasn't half bad as days go, but today....awful. :(

TMI Warning...

My aunt is in a lot of pain from her back (which has been ongoing for months), she still has diarrhea, nausea, and has already vomited up the Tylenol she tried to take for the back pain. She's barely eating and half the time doesn't know what she wants to eat.

Mom & I are both thinking she never should've been released from the hospital. Oh, did I mention she can't get in to see her doctor until Tuesday??? WTH??? I hope she's able to get there by then. Today it would've been impossible.

I've been looking up her symptoms and pancreatitis online and I keep coming back around to Acute Kidney Failure. I believe she's been having trouble with her kidneys for a while now. They found out about it just before her hysterectomy back in April. But the back pain, nausea & vomiting, lack of appetite, all kind of point in that direction. I dunno...I'm just trying to find an answer and I'm disappointed that she's still in bad shape despite being in the hospital for nearly a week. *sigh*

Meanwhile, I'm not much help today. My period is in full swing, though cramps haven't been much of an issue, I'm just very tired and sleepy. I have no energy. My throat also hurts, which sucks big time. I might have mentioned before my utter hatred of soar throats. They make me miserable. I can handle just about anything else, but a simple sore throat wipes me out. I'm hoping it's just because I breathed too much through my mouth the other night. Either way...Bleh. Suckage. :(
