SPN Episode Title Caps: 5x08 Changing Channels

No title cap this time but one for the Director. "Changing Channels" is one of those few episodes after Season 1 that doesn't have the title on the screen. Of course, it's also missing the usual title card in place of the sitcom opening. :P

My goal is to post a title cap each day until I catch up to Season 7 and then it'll be weekly. Each cap has been given the same effect in Picnik, which I think provides a nice gritty, cinematic feel.

It's terribly late and I hope I can get some sleep. I truly need it. You might have noticed I'm getting caught up on comments. Almost there. I'll try to finish later today/tonight. I've got caps I wanna post and I can't do it until I'm all caught up.

Photos & Video: Big Snow & Ice Storm

Not sure how many of you have heard about the big winter blast that has hit a lot of Washington, Oregon, and even up in Vancouver, BC. We've been dealing with this thing all week. Today it was supposed to warm up and thaw us out, but the bitter cold and snow refuses to leave.

Wednesday was a day full of snow for all of Western Washington. We got at least 5 to 7 inches here in our neighborhood. But today we got freezing rain that then turned back into snow. All day long we've heard the "snap crackle pop crash" of tree limbs snapping and falling. Our lights have flickered off and on, but thankfully our power has stayed on. Thousands of people across Puget Sound haven't been as lucky and their power is likely to be out all weekend. :(

Anyway, I've got a bunch of pictures and a few videos to share. With any luck this stuff will be gone sometime tomorrow. *crosses fingers*

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I just haven't had the motivation to share anything.

I really can't remember much over the past several days. The bad weather has really kept us locked in the house and has kept away a lot of visitors.
