Despite my earlier entry, you can see that I have been able to make my usual LJ posts. It hasn't been without some struggle though. *sigh* It's improving, but it's still not normal. Since Twitter & LJ were giving me so much grief, I decided to cap 2x03 "Bloodlust" which turned out to be the winner (narrowly) in our latest capping poll. Didn't realize how very much I missed Dean's leather jacket until I saw him wearing it so much in that ep. He's totally different wearing that thing. I miss that Dean. Not that I don't love the one we have now, but there was a confidence he had back then and wearing that leather jacket was part of it. Anyway...enough rambling from me. :P

Been ages since I did a post like this, but I just finished some pieces that fit here perfectly and I'm super excited to show them off. And now I can go to bed. Heh. :)

I just loved this cap when I came across it during the sorting/deleting process.
The words that came into my head were: beauty, power, and danger.
The text in the header is lyrics from "The Weight Of Us" by Sanders Bohlke which I happened to be listening to repeatedly while I worked on these. Somehow the tone of the music fit Dean in this particular moment.

:: Twitter & LJ are working normally for me today. YAY!!!!! \0/ I can't tell you how much happier I am without having to fight with those sites all day.

:: Gen & Jared's little boy has a name! Thomas Colton. I like it. So glad they didn't go with one of those more "creative" names some Hollywood celebs seem to gravitate towards. *ahem*

:: There was a fire on the SPN production today. Thankfully nobody was hurt and it only effected the ADR truck (poor Don...all that equipment lost). Hope they have an alternate place to do their ADR work and that it doesn't effect their production schedule.

:: Having a very busy/hectic day, but still hoping to do my reviews of the last 3 SPN eps sometime tonight. *crosses fingers* Really want to be caught up for Friday's episode so I can post my thoughts on it soon after it airs.

:: Really need to get back to catching up on LJ comments this weekend. Still have do all of Feb. & this month. Oy.

:: Can I say how glad I am that I got my capping-fu back? I really can't keep a schedule up as far as posting them anymore, but at least I'm close to being caught up with the episodes to be capped. I want to thank everyone for their patience and appreciation. It means the world to me. ♥ :)

:: I really need to swap in some new icons. Some of them are getting a little...old. Or I need more space for icons. :P Don't make me give up my favorites LJ!!!

First Impressions: 7x14 "Plucky Pennywhistle's Magic Menagerie" & 7x15 "Repo Man"

Doing these 2 together since I'm so far behind. You'll also find that these are a little more brief, which could be a good thing (or not - you decide). Sadly, with SuperWiki being down, I didn't have it to help me with info., transcripts, & quotes, so I used EpGuides/TVRage instead. Hope you enjoy the recap & notes anyway. :P
