This cap is from 4x05 "Monster Movie".

The boys look a little puzzled that there's no new SPN on tonight. Not to worry. The show will resume on the 20th. ;)
Spent a good chunk of Thursday downloading TV shows that I need to catch up on. Funny how you can fall behind so fast. Now I just hope I can catch up before some of them return from this little hiatus (no, it's not just SPN in rerun-city).
Have a good Friday folks, even w/out a new SPN (but it's 7x05...woot! I watched them film that one!). *hugs*

Have to post about this before I grab some Zzzs. ;)

As many of know, my favorite online image editor, Picnik, is going to be shut down on the 19th. Yes...let's all have a moment of silence. *bows head*

Except...I visited the site overnight and found that they were recommending some alternative sites, including one called PicMonkey. Curious, I checked it out and TA-DA! It really is a replacement for Picnik and it's even set up by some of Picnik's creators! Woot!!!!

From their About Page:
Several months later, here we are. A dynamic duo became a small dynamic team. And the world's friendliest photo editor got a chance to start again. If you loved Picnik, PicMonkey is back in town and better than ever. It's faster, more powerful, and easier to use. It's the real deal you already know, plus 78% more monkey.

I really love how the effects and controls are all labeled. It's pretty and everything is there from Picnik, along with some new toys. *squee* :D Right now you can only save in the jpeg format, but that's okay. They're also working on adding the Collage feature. *bounces* You'll notice some features put a monkey face in the corner. These are the exclusive effects, but if you click to apply the effect you'll see that right now everyone can use them until they post some price ranges for the site.

Check out my experiment. :)

Now I'll have five options in place of Picnik when it's gone:
- PicMonkey
- Pixlr
- ipiccy
- BeFunky
- Picture2Life

And those are just the online image editors. There's still PhotoScape and Picasa (in a pinch). Looks like I'll survive Picnik disappearing after all. ;)
