Fade In, Fade Out: SPN's Beginnings & Endings - 1.16 Shadow

I'll try to post these at least twice a week, maybe every Monday & Friday (but don't hold me to those days!). I've already got all the images for Seasons 1 & 2 ready to go. Sometimes there will be more than one cap for a beginning or ending of an episode. I'm also using my capper's discretion - meaning I'm choosing the most aesthetically pleasing image that we see first or last not always literally the first or last things we see. I'll explain this as we go along.

1.16 Beginning: Ah, Meredith...our main victim. So unaware of the violent end she's about to meet in her apartment from some daevas. She's listening to "You Got Your Hooks in Me" by Little Charlie and the Nightcats for you music lovers out there. I actually have a slightly earlier cap of her walking that technically would be the first thing we see in the ep, but I liked this image better. 1.16 Ending: Evil Meg still alive and watching as Sam & Dean drive off into the night. I really love this image with the red light framing her face on the right side (and not for the last time, either...they did this again in Salvation).

I'm revisiting a few requests now because I often grabbed more than one cap from a moment or episode. Today's cap is in answer to pushistyj_koshk's request for "something about Dean and pie". Well when I grabbed that cap from "Hammer Of The Gods" I also got these two, which I feel just naturally go together because you have Dean telling Sam "You're gonna get me some pie!" and then...Dean ends up with no pie. Poor baby!
Wednesday was sort of a mixed bag. Had to go out and run a couple errands, which was nice 'cause I got to see some pretty fall color, but as far as productivity goes? Meh, not so much. I keep trying though. Finally got caught up with the Storify posts, but didn't get to my 9x02 review. I'll tackle that later today. Want it done and off my mind.

SPN 9x02 Dean & Abaddon Picspam

Yes, I still need to post my review of the episode. It'll be up later tonight, but in the meantime I wanted to get this picspam up for your viewing pleasure. *g*

Who didn't think these two were totally hot in this week's episode? Smokin'! Abaddon was threatening and dangerous and Dean was all beautiful and submissive defiant. So naturally, when I was grabbing some caps from the eppy my capping finger went crazy on this scene. Had to share the goodies. ;)
