Random Fanart: Impala

Made some more fanart pieces overnight so...back to posting them. :)

This cap was grabbed from 11x02 (I think) and it was used in the Then segment. It's a shot of the Impala that I don't recall ever seeing in the show before so I knew I needed to save it. A little cropping and some cool effects (Watercolor Pencil to give it that painted look) and voila! :)

Fade In, Fade Out: SPN's Beginnings & Endings - 3.06 Red Sky At Morning

I'm going to try and post these every week day, which should put us ending it on or around December 21st for this shortened season. Sometimes there will be more than one cap for a beginning or ending of an episode. I'm also using my capper's discretion - meaning I'm choosing the most aesthetically pleasing image that we see first or last not always literally the first or last things we see. I'll explain this as we go along.

3.06 Beginning: The episode begins with this runner seeing a ghost ship in the harbor soon before being killed in her own shower. Pretty shot of the Impala at night (recycled from S1, I believe) and then our first look at the boys is of them arguing over Sam killing the crossroads demon using the Colt.




3.06 Ending: At episode's end the boys are again in the car with Dean apologizing to Sam for leaving him soon, but feels Sam is strong enough to survive the loss. But Sam doesn't want any apologies from his brother.
Sam: "So would you please quit worrying about me? I mean that's the whole problem in the first place. I don't want you to worry about me, Dean, I want you to worry about you! I want you to give a crap that you’re dying!"
Dean just responds with plans of going gambling and playing craps, leaving an exasperated Sam with nothing to say. Btw, while these two caps look very similar, the lighting was different and thus the caps have a bit of a different look.
