From ugliness comes beauty - SPN Fanart

raloriaWhen I'm having a bad day, I inevitably channel my emotions into something creative. It keeps me busy and takes my mind off of things. After Wednesday's "gray cloud of gloom", I found myself at Picnik.com making all sorts of pretty fanart.
So these are the results of one evening's work. Most of these are made from some test screencaps I made from the episode "Dream A Little Dream Of Me". They had bad color that Picnik easily took care of with it's Auto-fix feature.

1. Dream Dean in B&W. With the Vignette effect and some graininess added.
2. I rather like these two. Fixed color, Focus Zoom effect, Vignette to darken the edges, and I got a cool effect with the text by doubling it in black and white.
3. The same as above, in black and white.
4. I always loved this cap, with Dean's intense look. I had to be crafty with some shapes and text to cover up that ugly CW/Pussycat Dolls Logo, but I think it turned out okay.
5. This is with the Infared Film effect, which I think really makes it look creepy, but cool!
6. More beautiful instead of creepy in simple black & white.
7. This is here to show you what the original caps looked like. As you can see there's quite a greenish tint. Picnik was able to take it right out.
8. With the color fixed and the Focal Soften effect.
9. With a blue tint added.
10. I don't remember now how I got this look.
11. Just black & white.
These are just a few icons I made. The first 2 are from the fanart piece above. I also thought I'd post 3 that I made from one of the Legacy teaser pics that were posted yesterday.
Just for fun, I made this little Picnik Logo button. Those of you who have also enjoyed playing with the toys at the site, feel free to take it and use it for your posts as well. :)
