Thought I'd let everyone know how the call backs went the other day (Wednesday). This is for the upcoming film titled "Long Time Gone", which is currently in pre-production. I was just called in to videotape the auditions for the day. The script is almost in its finished form, but I haven't read it yet. Hopefully the Line Producer will get a copy to me soon.
I think there were around 10 to 12 people who came to audition, mostly women. All of them were good, it's just a matter of who is best for a particular part. I'm certainly glad I don't have to choose. That task is for the writer/director of this film, Michael Korolenko, my former college instructor. As this isn't a college film, he's trying to get enough funding for the film so everyone can get paid. It won't be a lot, but it will be something. So if I get the job as Script Supervisor on this film, it will be my first paying gig. Pretty exciting stuff. :)
The rough schedule is to start rehearsals in late April through May and then start filming in mid-June, with principle photography to be done in around 5 days (though I expect it to take a little longer than that).
