Drowning in caps...and loving it!

raloriaWell the snow has finally all melted and we're back to our normal gray, rainy Washington weather. I hope the weather is going to calm down now and maybe, possibly...bring us an early spring. Yeah, I know...fat chance. I can still dream!
Spent all day/evening yesterday saving all those great photos of J & J, Kripke, & Singer at the SPN Panel from Friday. Jensen & Jared looked so nice in their nearly matching suits! Loved reading the transcript of the Q & A, too. Do you think we'll get that on the DVD? And I can't believe the two of them were here for the NFL playoff game between the Seahawks & the Cowboys!!! Jensen said they came to Seattle to cheer on their Cowboys, but of course, they lost (heh - Go Seahawks!). They were sitting there in Qwest Field, only 17 miles away from me!!! *yes, I did a mapquest - so what of it* And there I was at home, watching the game on my TV and never imagining they were there the whole time. *Sigh*
I'm currently fixing my caps for the next Dark Angel picspam for Wednesday. Just to get you geared up...this week's episode is Proof Of Purchase. Still don't know how many caps there will be, but I've got over 80 so far!
I also spent several hours last night, capping Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things for Tuesday's picspam. Would you believe I made over 500 caps!!! Just too much pretty to pass up! Of course, you'll still only be getting 4 caps on Tuesday. Heh :P
So I was capping away last night and came to this scene at the cemetary where Dean has been standing and waiting for Sam to finish as their mom's grave. The camera does this lovely pan around him and then he starts walking over towards the dead tree where he finds Angela's grave.
In watching Jensen in this shot frame by frame, I could see how beautiful it all was. Not only was the camera move flawless (the wonderous steadicam!), the lighting is perfect (catches the color of his eyes nicely), but Jensen's acting just floored me. It was such a simple thing - just him turning around and walking towards the camera, but it was the way he did it that made it so beautiful. It's so hard to put into words. I guess it was just the expressions on his face and the look in his eyes that did it.
So I include a cap here from that scene. Think of it as a preview for Tuesday. It's not a very good cap, but it'll do. Because the quality isn't too great, it probably won't be included in the Tue/Thursday picspams anyway. Well, back to work on those caps...
