Again, this is not my First Impressions post, which will be done sometime over the weekend...hopefully.

I've watched the episode twice and I still have no real words for it. I have words, but no real cohesive thoughts. I hope that makes sense. I'm still in shock mode, I guess. Not that I didn't know what was going to happen, because in a sense I did. I saw Dean's death coming months ago. It was a near certainty. The question was whether the show would ultimately go that far...and they did. I'm heartbroken and also happy about it. To sum it up: I hated seeing Dean die like that and go to hell, but he needed to for the show and I'm relieved they did it.

It was an awesome show all the way around, in all the ways I thought it would be. I didn't cry like I thought I would, but I think that's more from knowing that Dean was going to die anyway. It was gut-wrenching and painful to see him torn apart like that....wow.

Anyhow....it's over and now we have the long wait until (hopefully) September when S4 begins. Btw, I didn't make my usual notes as the episode aired, so I've got nothing right now for my First Impression post, but I will type some out in the days to come. I just didn't want to miss anything this time and couldn't tear my eyes away to type. I'll also be capping the episode, but not tonight 'cause it's late. I'll work that into the weekend, too. :)

Meanwhile, feel free to squee, flail, or whatever here. I was anticipating the need for a big group hug after all this, but I'm not feeling that now. Maybe it's just me, but even though Dean's dead....I'm okay with it because I know somehow he's coming back next season. *smooshes the boys 'cause they need it*
