Part 5 shows the fight between Max and Ben in the forest and the aftermath when he's wounded and he asks her to end his life, rather than be taken back to Manticore.

Part 5-

And the fight is on!

It's not easy to get good clear caps from a fight scene. I tried my best.

Love his facial expression and the look over the shoulder of the 1st cap.

The middle cap is one of my favorites! The fierce look in his eyes! What a gorgeous closeup!

Ben is down and Lydecker's on his way.

"Don't leave me here. Don't let them take me."

And then he wants Max to end his life. "Ben, I can't."

But he'd rather die then go back to Manticore. "You know what they'll do to me. They'll put me down there...with them - the Nomlies."

She accepts his wish..."Tell me about the Good Place."

Poor Ben. And it killed Max having to take his life like that. This all gets revisited in S2 when she tells Alec about that moment and how guilty she felt for saving herself and leaving his body behind.

Beautiful shot here with the light filtering through the trees. But I wonder how comfortable Jensen was in that position he's in? Looks very awkward. Poor guy!

Now for that extra suprise I've been promising. I made an audio recording of some of the music from this episode. Specifically, the beautiful music when Max enters the church, which I've called the "Blue Lady Theme". It's very short (under a minute), but I always liked the music and thought some of you would like it too.

I really think this church is beautiful. Such pretty stained-glass windows and architecture.
