Walking: Going Farther

After weighing myself yesterday and finding that I'd gained yet another pound *grrrr*, I decided to push myself some today. I started out with my big loop through Cherry Park, but the reverse of the way I did it the first time and I must admit that going that direction was a little easier. Then I came back up into our part of the neighborhood and did the big loop (without the hill). I then came back around and went on the street in back of us, then the medium loop and back up to our house. It all added up to over 2 miles! \0/
For a while my legs were really aching, but they soon quieted down and felt more comfortable. At least the weather was pleasant (mostly cloudy, around 50 degrees). I'm glad I had an mp3 player along with me. The beat really kept me going at a good pace.
Stats from MapMyWalk.com:
Miles: 2.17
Time: 42 minutes
Calories: 181
