Harper's Island: "Thrack, Splack, Sizzle"
May. 30th, 2009 11:25 pmFirst of all, I was only half watching the episode because I was also catching up on all the Asylum Con goodies online. So this is sure to be slightly incomplete. *hides*
And for that reason, I'd suggest checking out this cool recap by Zap2it.com. I'm only going to hit the highlights.
* Learning more about Abby, her dad, and Wakefield was interesting. Also nice to see her and Jimmy finally reclaim some of what they had before.
* Okay, so the scarred-face guy isn't Wakefield, but an old deputy of Sheriff Mills's. So much for that theory. :P But if this is the same dude with the cabin out in the woods, what was J.D. doing running out there last week? *iz confused*
* Abby helped Trish get some closure with her dead dad. Nice scenes between these two tonight. Had to be tough for Katie Cassidy to be in that constant state of nearly-tears.
* Malcom finally gets caught by his buddies with the cash and comes clean about Booth, but I'm not too sure they're buying that he didn't kill the guy.
* You gotta love how the characters are still STILL! lackadaisical about people being gone for a while when they know there's a killer on the island. *sigh* Whats-her-name, Madison's mom, tells her Richard is "somewhere". Yeah, and "somewhere" on this island usually means they're dead! Gah! Seriously, even if the guy was cheating on you, wouldn't you want to know where he is?????
* After Sheriff Mills and Henry find Uncle Marty's cell phone in J.D.'s room, they go off into the woods to hunt him down. They do eventually find him and all I remember is Henry tackling his brother. Oh, and he told Trish about finding the cell phone in J.D.'s room (smart move loverboy - he picks the darndest times be honest with people) and now she's all "he killed my daddy and he's gonna
* Malcom meets a painful end down by the incinerator as he's burning up that cash he wanted so very badly. Madison's life looks to now be in danger as she got a mysterious message, entered a room, and the door slammed closed behind her. Eeek!
Yeah, that's basically it. It was a so-so episode. Like I said, it didn't completely have my attention. :P
