Well, folks this picspam marks the end of my weekly DA picspams. Freak Nation was not only the end of Dark Angel's Season Two, but sadly the end of the series. I still can't watch the end of this episode without feeling a sense of loss. So many storylines unresolved. So many questions left unanswered. But then I see Jensen doing such a brilliant job on SPN and I'm reminded that if DA hadn't been canceled we probably wouldn't be watching such a great show now.

In Part One: Alec gets a surprise from Normal and then Joshua and some friends end up stopping by Jam Pony in order to evade the police.

There are a total of 199 caps for this episode, broken up into 3 parts. ~~I also ended up going icon-making crazy with this eppy and I'll be offering up the results of my madness at the end of Part 3.~~ Edit: Sorry guys, but I'm running short on time and can't post the icons from this ep like I'd hoped. Look for them sometime over the weekend.

Part 1 -

Alec arrives at Jam Pony to be serenaded by Normal. Alec: "The man's finally lost it." *giggles* Love that line!

Normal made a cake to celebrate Alec's birthday. It's amusing how Alec doesn't even remember, but then transgenics wouldn't really have birthdays.

They probably don't even know when they were born, so I'm sure he just filled in a date on the application form that Normal mentions. Ah, that lovely smile!

I tried to cap this episode thoroughly...since it's the last one and all. Got all of Jensen's little changes in facial expression.

This look off to the side is so adorable!

Doesn't that knife he's holding remind you of the one Dean uses in Skin to pick up the Shapeshifter's goo in the sewer? Heh.

I love how the camera picked up the color of his eyes in the second cap...beautiful! Joshua & Mole show up at Jam Pony with two other transgenics and the police on their tail. Alec: "Oh, so naturally you thought of stopping by Jam Pony in broad daylight."

Joshua tries to explain that Max told him to come so Alec could get them a car.

Then Alec sees the police show up behind them. He tells them not to turn around, to keep walking, but it's already too late.

With police at both ends of the street, they're surrounded.

The first two caps in this row are great! I even made an icon out of the first one. *g* Mole decides it's time to take hostages and hide...in Jam Pony.

Mole: "Play along." Alec: "Yeah, no problem." Heh.

Alec: "Well, this should be interesting." The commotion outside gets Normal's attention, as Mole enters the building with a gun on Alec. Alec: "Don't blow my cover."
