Dark Angel Picspam # 22 - Freak Nation - Part 3

In Part Three: The final battle is waged as White's team moves in on Jam Pony, forcing the group to hide upstairs. Succeeding in defeating White, Max and the others escape to Terminal City.

There are a total of 199 caps for this episode, broken up into 3 parts. I also ended up going icon-making crazy with this eppy and I'll be offering up the results of my madness at the end of Part 3. Edit: Sorry guys, but I'm running short on time and can't post the icons from this ep like I'd hoped. Look for them sometime over the weekend.

Part 2 -

For all you neck fans (you know who you are)...these first 3 caps are for you. Oooh...Alec in the moonlight.


Time for the action to really kick in as the group heads upstairs with White's elite team moving in. Alec with a gun! *guh* He looks just like Dean here.


Nice little run right at the camera. Alec checks to see how much ammo he has left. Nice closeup of the gun and...*sigh* those hands.


Another nice CU. But the time for guns is over.


Heh heh. Nice face from Jensen in the second cap...*giggles*. But total love for the last cap in this row...


...and the first one in this row. *Rawr* Then the attack is on! As always...getting caps during a fight scene is tough, but I got some nice ones. Check out the third cap to see Jensen's stunt double in the background.


How amusing is it that Alec ends up fighting a girl...and totally gets his ass kicked in the process? Poor guy. Then Logan teases him about it later.


Whoah! Look out for that kick!


Trying to avoid that final blow...but Logan comes to the rescue.


Excellent lighting in this whole scene upstairs btw. It's just stunning! Meanwhile...a few more butt shots...heh.


Again...lots of caps...as Alec pins down one of the Breeding Cult's soldiers and the all clear is given.


Okay...who else thinks Jensen wearing SWAT gear is totally hot? Yeah...thought so. Heh. Think of this as a prelude to Nightshifter.


Logan's gotta say it..."Just for the record, that chick was kicking your ass." Alec: "Oh, I had it. I was just setting her up." Heehee!


Total love for the 3rd cap. The eyes! The eyes!


This row of caps is for one of my favorite Alec lines ever. The police have followed our merry band into Terminal City and are now ordering them to surrender. Max reluctantly agrees. Alec: "Awww. I fought the law, and the law won." *squeees* He says that line with the perfect Jensen twist on it. :)


I like how Joshua helps the still-injured Alec out of the van. The group surrenders...except Max, who has a final stand to make.


This battle is over as the other transgenics emerge to surround the police, who soon retreat. Some beautiful closeups of Alec in that orange glow from the torches.


All the transgenics unite and agree to stay and make a stand there in Terminal City. As Joshua's flag is raised, we get our final look at the characters we've come to know. Sadly, once Alec steps up in the line the camera is already focused on Logan. Pbbbt! Still kinda pissed at that. Where's Jensen's final closeup! And thus, another good series comes to an abrupt end.

I'm happy you liked the caps and their quality. Putting out the best screencaps possible is very important to me. Thanks for sharing in all the fangirling over Alec/Jensen. It's good to know I'm in such great company! I might make some different DA picspams with my caps in the future, but for now, this post marks the end of the Wednesday Dark Angel Picspam posts.

I'll be taking some time off before I move on to cap Jensen's other roles (on S4 of Smallville and in the film "Devour"). I need a bit of a break from all the heavy capping. Never fear though, the twice weekly SPN picspams will continue without a break. See you there...
