raloriaA lot happened over the weekend, so I think a status report is in order. I certainly hope this coming week is more quiet than last week! Phew!

kathrinchen, who celebrated her birthday on Sept. 6th! Happy Belated Birthday!!!
* Bought the SPN book "The Supernatural Book Of Monsters, Spirits, Demons, And Ghouls" by Alex Irvine at Borders on Tuesday. It was on their "Paperback Favorites" display table, right on the top shelf! *squee* I like how Borders continually gives SPN books attention. Can't say the same for Barnes & Noble. So phooey to them. >:P
I'm just starting the Monsters section of the book (Wendigos...cool!) and I'll post my review once I finish. :)
* Mom & I went to our favorite Pizza Hut for supper on Friday night and had a bit of a fangirly moment. We've been going to this Pizza Hut for years and they know us there. Anyway, there's this one guy there that we hadn't seen in a while and he took our order. While we sat and waited the two of us got to talking about him. My mom suddenly says to me, "With his hair cut like that, doesn't he look like Jensen?" I instantly agreed with her because I'd actually thought the same thing for a long time now. This guy's very cute! And he does look like Jensen, was even wearing a silver ring on his hand! Oh, and he was also wearing a tight, blue t-shirt...*yum* Turns out my mom had thought the same thing all this time! So we giggled and watched him work behind the counter. It was fun! Who'd have thought I'd end up having a fangirl moment with my mom??? Heehee! :D
* On Saturday our long-time next door neighbor celebrated his 90th birthday! He and his wife have lived in the neighborhood almost as long as we have (which has been since the houses were built in the 1960s). Many neighbors from our street were there and we all had a great time talking and eating.
