In Remembrance of a Tragic Day

raloriaIt's hard to believe it's been 6 years since the horrible events of 9/11.
Even though on the opposite coast and hundreds of miles away, the impact was still felt here. I remember watching the TV for days and feeling scared and helpless. I remember how quiet everything became because all aircraft were grounded. I remember the sense of shock and loss for the number of lives suddenly cut short.
May we take a moment today and remember not only the lives lost in the twin towers of New York, but also the souls put to rest in Pennsylvania, and at the Pentagon.
