raloriaTime for another status update.
The usual pretty:
* Who said LJ is quiet over the weekends? I've just been going over my flist since early Friday morning and whoah...lots of posts to look through. A new TIH pic, pics of J & J on the set, and more. Cool! And I haven't even gotten to my usual haunts yet. Summer hiatus has been far from quiet or boring this time. :)
* Had an actual Impala sighting last night! It was only a 2 door and blue, but it definitely said Impala on the side.
* Watched discs 3 & 4 of Farscape S1 last night. While Jensen is absolutely my current TV boyfriend, I'd have to say Ben Browder is a very close second. In most of the eps, he was wearing this tight black t-shirt....*yum* I must have spent most of the time staring at the man's biceps. :P *drools*
* Bought the S2 DVD set on Tuesday afternoon, bought an apple pie ("love me some pie") & a bag of Mega Peanut M&Ms (Dean's official snack food #), came home and had a great evening of Supernatural fun! Watched all the extras on Disc 6 (that Gag Reel never gets old!) and then watched all of Disc 1, including the commentary on IMTOD. I know I've said it before, but watching SPN on a HDTV...so awesome!!! It's amazing what I saw that I'd never even noticed before! Like how black with dirt Jensen's foot is when Dean sits down opposite Sam in the ouija board scene or how Sam is clutching at his hurt hand in CSPWDT as Dean slides into the grave to nail Angela into her casket.
# Yes, I know Dean's candy choice in Wendigo was just the regular size peanut M&Ms, but I figured with Dean's appetite he'd go Mega Size if he could. So I bought the larger size. Heehee! :)
* I'd say summer is over around here in western WA. We've been having lots of cool, overcast days. Meanwhile, the spiders are still all over the place - ewwwww! Hate spiders...hate them with a passion! There's nothing worse than stepping outside and finding spiderwebs just about everywhere you look. I can't wait for the first frost to come and kill them off.
* I overslept my alarm this morning and didn't get up until early afternoon. Now I'm all groggy...bleh.
* The fall quarter of college starts in a little over a week and I haven't chosen or registered for classes yet. Eeep! Where did the summer go? I had all these plans on getting things done during the break. Don't think I got to any of them. *Sigh*
* My best friend GeckoGirl emailed me at last!!! *waves to her* I'm so happy! I'll be getting back to you soon, sweetie! *hugs* :D
* How awesome is it to open your email and see 22 messages in your inbox? On the flipside, how terrible is it to think that you're currently 2 to 3 months behind in your replies? Oh, the conflicting emotions...
* I actually got caught up with a lot of my posts this past week (yaaay!), but there's still more to do.
