raloriaToday would've been my parents 50th wedding anniversary.
We'll be going out to the cemetery later this afternoon to lay some flowers for dad and my uncle.
I was listening to some Christmas music just a little bit ago and suddenly started missing my dad. Four years and 7 months he's been gone and the feelings can still sneak up on me. I never thought about it all that much before...that my parents were married during the holiday season, with Christmas music playing and people getting ready for the big day. It used to be I just thought it was cool that they'd had a winter wedding.
Even though they weren't married on Christmas, this song makes me think of my mom & dad.
I miss you Daddy, and I know mom does too.
