Stop the week, please...I wanna get off!

raloriaTime for a quickie status report...
It's been such an exhausting, crazy week - which isn't even over yet. I haven't even had time to get excited about the season premiere on Thursday. Meh. :(
Time for some pretty...IMTOD seems appropriate, considering it was the season two premiere...
* In trying to keep up with my classes and dealing with dvd recorders this week, I'm now terribly behind in my flist. So much stuff going on and being posted...and I'm missing most of it. New pics, new and longer Director's Cuts....Grrrrr. That and my internet connection is being more difficult than usual and it's becoming increasingly more and more frustrating every time I get online and try to catch up.
* Classes: Philosophy - tough to wrap my brain around. Who knew there were so many ways to interpret arguments? Media Law & Ethics - Law terminology sucks! Could I have picked two worse classes to take together? Ugh. I swear my brain cells have totally died and I've got nothing left for these classes. Doesn't help that I'm having trouble getting onto the online class site. It keeps freezing up FireFox!!!! Doesn't work very well in my other browsers either. Meh. :(
* Back to the DVD recorders: Been running around half of Puget Sound over the past couple of weeks trying to get 2 good, working DVD recorders, btw. It's been crazy! Took back the Panasonic model that gave us nothing but trouble...picked up a Phillips one. It works very well. Decided to get another one of that same model, which is difficult because apparently it's a popular model and the stores are practically sold out. Found one, brought it home, set it up Monday night...the drawer wouldn't open!!! Took it back yesterday and had to track another one down in Bonney Lake. Hooked it up and voila! the drawer worked!!!! Finally! Maybe now I can say at last that I'm set for Thursday night's recordings. About time!
* My mom just cracks me up sometimes...Yesterday in the car she said something about...I don't remember...whatever...anyway, at one point she said something like "you do what you can do and what you do do" Immediately I said, "You said do do!" LOL! We giggled. It was fun. :)
* A stressful weekend and then this week means no picspams for the week. Those of you on my flist already know about this. And thank you all for your advice and encouragement! You guys rock! So I'm not going to stress out about not getting my picspams done this week. I'm going to let it go and give myself a little breather before I finish up the last 4. I'm hoping to get one surprise one done by Thursday, but the way this week has been who knows if I'll make it. We'll see. :)
* It's my grandpa's birthday on Friday and we'll be going to his place for the day.
* Finally got the SPN S1 Companion Book! Yaaaaay! Had to drive all the way to Tacoma for it, but oh, well! Started reading it already and am very pleased. What an awesome book. So much new information and wonderful pictures to boot! Can't wait to see the one in April for S2!
* I hope next weekend is better than this one has been, because phew! this one's been a doozy!
I'm sure there's more I wanted to post, but I'm tired and sleepy and can't think straight anymore. Sure hope I have enough energy by Thursday evening to be excited about SPN starting up again.
