When good isn't good enough
Nov. 7th, 2007 06:44 am*Sigh* I've just spent the past 2 hours trying to improve the quality of my caps from Bedtime Stories.
I'm still trying out different software/media players to make my caps with and have sort of settled on the KMPlayer. However, it has TONS of controls...half of which I don't understand. So I've been sitting here tweaking and adjusting while replaying the same scene and taking caps. Needless to say I know the scene where the brothers interview Kyle (the first victim) in the hospital backwards and forwards.
I guess my problem is I look at caps from places like Oxoniensis.net and they look so much better than mine. I'm not normally one to feel the need to "keep up with the Jonses", but this is driving me nuts. What is their secret? How do they manage to make caps that look so clear and sharp and mine are all grainy instead? *cries*
I'm sure I sound whiny and bitchy and maybe I am. Perfectionism is a curse of mine and while I can normally keep it sort of under control, it seems to have really flared up with my screencaping abilities. It's brought out that competitive nature in me that I usually keep hidden.
Sorry for the rant. I just had to vent and let out some of my frustration.
Well, back to tweaking and cappingand cursing.
