If this is a long holiday weekend for me, why do I already feel like I'm falling behind? *Sigh*
Time for the latest...news, ramblings, status report....you name it.
Feel like a little Dean? I thought so... Here's a random cap from ELAC.
* I finally got "Witch's Canyon" last night! Yay! I'm already up to Chapter 7 and I'll say that this novel is working much better than "Nevermore" did. Expect a full review when I finish.
* Got a bunch of icons I made from the 3.06 promos and I'll be posting them soon. Dean in a tux...mmmmmmm....*swoons* Oh, and there might be a few from Sin City in there too. ;)
* Still need to type out my review of Bedtime Stories. The caps for the review are all ready to go and uploaded to PB.
* My First Impressions post for Red Sky At Morning is also on its way. :)
* I'm going to try my best to stop stressing over my caps. They are what they are. I try my best to make them look good, but I've come to the conclusion that trying to make them as good as everyone else's is making me insane. So that strategy is out. I've got enough stress in my life. Besides, the caps from this season's episodes will eventually be replaced by ones from a future DVD set anyway. So the plan, is to cap the new episodes, but not make them huge and at the same time, just make them look good. Or as good as I can without stressing out. *stuffs perfectionist self into a closet* There's only so much you can do sometimes...and that just has to be enough.
* *waves to people at the Con in Chicago* You lucky people you! Have a great time meeting the guys and if you can give Jensen a hug for me. :) Hey! It never hurts to ask, right? Some early reports are already coming in (though I haven't had a chance to read them yet). This is gonna be a busy weekend...
* Only one more new episode before a month-long hiatus and then the much anticipated Christmas eppy! *bounces excitedly* After that, it's hard to say what we'll be seeing come January. From what I've been reading, they're filming episode 11 right now and only have one more finished script left to film after that. Eep! I really hope this strike is resolved soon.
* While I'll miss having new episodes of SPN to enjoy, I'm also looking forward to the little hiatus. I've got a ton of posts I'd love to do, but haven't had the time because of reviewing and capping the new episodes. So now I've got a chance at last. Lots of goodies and fun stuff ahead... :)
* Got a quiz in my online class this weekend. I'm still trying to get caught up in the reading for that class. Starting to get the feeling by the time I do, the quarter will be over. Meh.
* Random #1: I really don't like that the days are shorter now. It gets dark at 5 p.m. Bleh.
* Random #2: I miss M.G. He won't call, he won't email. I want to call him, but I'm too chicken to do it. Part of the problem is I hate talking over the phone...to anyone. Although...I'd love to hear his voice again...*sigh* *Note to self: If you wanna have any hope of a relationship, you gotta make a move. Something. Anything. Don't be such a wuss. Just call the guy already!* So that's my little pep talk to myself. I can only hope it works.
* Updated some of the links in my sidebar. Highlighted some older picspam posts there in case any newcomers might want to check them out. Also included my Raloria's Resources website, which is work in progress.
* Random #3: I'm so groggy/sleepy today. I stop doing something for 2 seconds and I'm out. Bah. Hate that.
* I read a lot of fanfic for SPN and after a bit of a break from it (not willingly, btw) I'm reading it again. One that I just read is "Protecting The Dead" by IMTheresa. It's only 3 chapters, but has the brotherly banter down perfectly. It was just like watching an episode. I really enjoyed this one...and it's not even all that angsty. Heh. Of course, if you like the angsty, hurt boys stuff like I do...you'll also enjoy "Gone" by loriimonsterr and "What Goes Around Comes Around" by blue peanut m and m.
