9/ll: My Journal

raloriaIn the midst of watching footage of the tributes and ceremonies across the country today, I recalled that I'd written a journal entry back on Sept. 11th, 2001. Sure enough, I found the journal and read it, which also took in Sept. 12th and the first anniversary of the attacks in 2002.
Reading those pages really brought me back to that time. I'd forgotten how many things had shut down and how many questions I had not only about other attacks, but if something would happen here on the west coast and if I'd even be alive for another day. Anyway, I thought I'd share the pages with you all. Ironically, there's exactly 11 pages of text.
